Melted plastic? TYC Brand

Bought some headlights, and as I was peeling the film off, it got stuck in some places. Not sure if it’s glue or melted plastic. It’s still a little tacky. I brought it into my house immediately once it was delivered.

Is this normal and good to install ? Should I return?

Clockspring/Cable reel continuity

I have an airbag light on for code F1-11 (driver seatbelt tensioner and/or airbag) on a 2009 Honda fit sport. Brought into Dealership & was told it’s showing my driver tensioner deployed and to replace srs unit since it’s a permanent code. I tested the tensioner, buckle, and air bag which all were good. I sent my airbag unit in to be reset but don’t want to install yet for the code to pop up again if I can test to see if there’s any issues with my clock spring before I do so. My clock spring is working smoothly (cruise control, horn, etc) but was told by a local mechanic that did body work on my car, that if I know that my seatbelt tensioner and airbag is good, it might be the clock spring and if it’s not, it’s a wiring issue somewhere.

I’m having trouble with testing clock spring because I’m not sure which ones to test for continuity.
Is the information below correct?

  1. test brown (first from left) + green ( third from left)
  2. if green+brown is faulty, test green + red (furthest right)
  3. if green + red is good, test black + brown
  4. if green + red & black + brown is good, the issue would be up the wiring harness

If brown + green is continuous do I proceed testing the other wires(2&3 above)?
