Should I apply clear coat after spraying Revell Chrome?
I am getting mixed suggestions. I have this metal piece made of copper. I tried to sand it down and cleaned it with alcohol. I will be applying 2 coats of Krylon Black Gloss Spray Primer and 2 coats of Revell Chrome Spray paint, with 48 hours interval between coats.
Should I use a gloss spray paint to seal it? I am getting mixed answers. Some say it will make the chrome effect dull, while other suggest to still spray it with the chrome effect being reduced to 90%.
I need to keep the chrome effect last.
The last time I tried to was to spray it with the Revell Chrome straight away. No primer, no clear coating after. The chrome effect dulled out easily.
If I need to use a clear coat, what spray would you suggest?
