titration advice needed

hello!

i was previously receiving tirz through pomegranate health and hallandale pharmacy, but there was a mishap with pomegranate and for some reason they were unable to provide medication to a bunch of people for like a month. i was unfortunately one of those people.

because of that, my titration schedule got messed up, and now i’m not sure what to do. here is what happened:

i was on weeks 1-4 of the 2.5mg dosage of tirz. i then titrated up to 5mg on my 5th week. i was supposed to be receiving more medication, but it never came.

so on the 6th week, i only had 2.5mg left of medication. i took that, because its all i had.

on the 7th week, i had nothing. so i skipped last week.

this upcoming week, i have medication again. i switched to rift as my provider, still using hallandale pharmacy.

basically, should i restart the process over and do the 2.5mg for 4 weeks again? i’m not sure what i need to do here since pomegranate essentially screwed me over.

hormonal acne advice <3

hello!!!

i’ve had hormonal acne my whole life, which makes sense because i have PCOS. in 2021 i got on spironolactone which helped tremendously and cleared up my acne, but in february of this year i tried a new birth control which caused me to breakout horribly.

i was only on it for a month, so until march, and i am still breaking out in june (almost july). i’m on 100mg of spiro, and have a regimented skincare routine that focuses on repairing my skin barrier. i also get acne focused facials once a month.

i really think this is an androgen issue but it’s all so confusing and overwhelming. obviously my body is off balance, but i was just wondering if anyone had any advice.

im considering starting another birth control, slynd, and would also be interested in hearing if anyone has experience with that.

thank you so much.

approaching 5th week of tirzepatide - need encouragement

hello!

i wanted to make a post because im approaching my 5th week on tirzepatide and am about to go from 2mg every week to 5mg.

previously i was getting only tirzepatide from hallandale pharmacy through pomegranate, but have decided to try tirzepatide + B3 through empower.

all of this being said, i haven’t noticed really any changes except really getting full faster. i still have food noise, cravings, and actually have gained some weight. i don’t think it’s muscle either, because my clothes feel like they’re fitting tighter. i know journeys like this aren’t linear, but i guess im just feeling a bit let down by my results so far. do you think this is because it was just the starting dose?

any insight would be appreciated, thank you!

tried Norethindrone, interested in alts

hello! i have PCOS, chronic migraines, and possibly endo. after being on a combination BC for 7 years i realized that was probably contributing to my chronic migraines (not sure why a dr. didn’t tell me this 🙃) and stopped it july of 2025.

i ended up getting my period for the first time in years in the fall and was really struggling, so i went to an OBGYN and was prescribed norethindrone, and was really hesitant. i know that a progesterone only BC won’t worsen my migraines, but after being on BC for so long, i am just not in love with it. i decided to give it a try though, because of having PCOS.

i started it in january and after being on it for a month i felt HORRIBLE. so inflamed, my cystic acne was the worst it had been since i was like 12-13 (im 25) and i was so irritable and depressed. i decided i couldn’t try it any longer because i just felt soo horrible. i didn’t even reach out to my dr. because i knew i just needed to stop it.

but now - my acne is still reflared up, and my period is all out of whack. i think i should definitely be on a birth control, i just don’t know what. does anyone have any positive experiences or recommendations to share? i saw people recommending slynd so maybe that?

anything is appreciated. thank you so much
