A lot of talentless hard working protagoists are physically and mentally gifted.

so many people knows the complain of naruto of talent vs hard work.

the thing is a lot of time when people give examples of hard working protagonists they are gifted either physically, mentally or both.

basically while those protag don't have talent they have so much durability and willpower compared to the other talented rivals that it barely matters.

lets take ippo from hajime no ippo or kenichi from history kenichi strongest disciple kenichi.

they are not as talented as their rivals.

the thing is these protag has so much duability and willpower that it barely ends up mattering and they can mostly durability diff most talented rivals.

people end up forgetting that having a gifted body and mind is a form of talent in of itself.

it does not really matter how much technique someone has if their enemy just does not fall down leading to them being exhausted.

durability and willpower is a form of talent in of itself.

most of the time characters like kenichi and ippo wins by just out tanking their enemies.none of the technique or talent ends up mattering if they can not take the protag down because of protag's insane durability and willpower.

a lot of time those talented rivals ends up getting durability diffed.

basically talent matters alongside hard work and saying otherwise is being ignorant of reality.

the thing is talent comes at different form.

a lot of time talented rivals ends up not having great durability itself and the opposite is true for the protag where they have insane durability and stamina compared to their rival but sucks at learning technique and planning well.

what would happen if the dahlia memory wiped archer in lore?

this question came when watching re zero and knowing how important memory is for reality marble.

what would happen if dahlia decided to memory wipe archer?

would archer lose his ability to project and use his reality marble since those needs incantation to function(trace on and different ubw incantation for different versions of shirou)?

would memory wiping archer change his reality marble since reality marble are physically manifestation of user's inner mental landscape and soul into reality?

healing, mana gerneration and sustain are underated for lower tier magus/master.

this is more of the requirement when it comes to lower tier master like shinji and junoko.

basically relying on strong heroic spirit has the problem that most powerful heroic spirit rely on their powerfull np that is they are extremely mana expensive case and point karna.

basically without mana most of their tools are null.

saber also had the same problem where shirou can not properly provide saber with mana and saber can not use excalliibur reliably because of that.

shirou himself is not the lowest tier of magus since he at least has usable magic circuits.

shinji, jinako and even kuzuki does not have proper usable magic circuits and hence can not provide mana properly.

which is why caster is so good since she has means to generate mana reliably.

if kuzuki had someone like karna, herc, berserker lancelot etc as his heroic spirit they would have been cooked since they would be severely nerfed and would outright kill kuzuki because of mana usage even though all of them are high tier heroic spirits.

enkidu is really good with that since he is made of clay, that means even if he is cut in half he can just re attach those body part to together similar to logia fruit user in one piece of majin buu in dbz.

enkidu also has really good stats and regeneration and because of the support from gaia she can siphon mana from the nature itself.

basically when it comes to bottom tier magus/master reliability is a major factor since you don't know what kind of master they are getting since most average people does not really have means to provide reliable mana.

i would put enkidu at top tier not because he is strong since compared to character like karna and gilgamesh he lacks firepower.

enkidu just has reliability having good overall stats, regeneration and support of gaia which allows her to siphon mana from the nature.

caster medea is also really good because of that since she does not depend on her master having reliably means of generating mana. her magecraft are also really good.

was old Seiko acting as well?

so this came during the rewatch but there are implication that old Seiko never really had memory issue or not to a severe degree so was old Seiko acting as well to guilt trip Seiichi like she did pre time skip.
