can you double major and minor as a transfer?

ultimately, i want to go to med school. but with how long and rigorous that path is going to be, i wish i could spend my undergraduate years studying everything i'm interested in bc when will i have that chance again?

i want to double major in biology and philosophy and minor in psychology and japanese. is this doable in just 4 or maybe 5 years? i would be transferring from a community college after receiving my associates in liberal arts and sciences. i was thinking of choosing classes that would fulfill the biology track so i can transfer as a biology major to a 4 year. would i even be able to take on another major and two minors during my last two years as an undergrad?

i wish i had more time. i wish education wasn't so expensive. i haven't even started my first semester at community college yet but i like to plan ahead

flex time questions

hi y'all

i just applied to a delivery station position as flex time. the required training time is a little crazy and i was wondering if it would be possible to have it changed to a different day and/or time?

also it's flex but 19 hours a week. does this mean i can only work up to 19 hours or that i have to work at least 19 hours a week.

i've been looking for a flex position to pop up for months so i had to grab this one immediately 🫩

my mudita kompakt

so i might've went overboard with the stickers. i haven't even powered the phone on yet.

i used the barbie phone for a month but never got used to the keyboard so i figured i'd do better with a touch screen. i'm excited to make this my main phone!

how crazy a name would sierra leone be for a girl?

i think it's a beautiful name and i know it's not always outlandish to name a child after a country or state but do you guys think it's too much?

i'm in my early 20s and nowhere near pregnant but i've been having bad baby fever and am expanding my list of potential baby names for the future. sierra is a pretty name and it meets my criteria of being able to be naturally pronounced in spanish. would adding leone as a middle name be tacky?

any ideas on why he does this?

sometimes when he sees me about to go down the stairs he runs ahead so he can plop himself down on one of the steps (or usually the floor underneath the very last step.) does he want me to trip and fall 😞?

for those who went to community college first

what did you major in? how many pre-reqs did you fulfill?

i'm starting at my local community college this fall and i'm unsure what to major in. i was thinking biology at first, so that i can get some of the science pre reqs out the way, but i don't think i would want to transfer to a 4 year as a bio major. and i heard it looks better to do your science courses at a four year anyway.

the other option i'm looking at is psych as its a subject i'm more interested in. but would i have time to get my associates in psychology and then do all the pre reqs as a junior/senior after i transfer?

face piercings?

can i have face piercings as long as i wear a mask? right now i have my eyebrow, nose, and septum pierced but i really want my lip pierced even if just for a few months. i understand if i have to take the eyebrow out since it can't be hidden but would the rest be okay under a mask? or will i not be hired unless i remove them?

would i look completely batshit if i got a buzz cut?

so i have been debating cutting all my hair off for personal reasons this august. i know i don't have the face card to pull it off and i'll probably look more like "uh oh what happened to her" than anything.

would it be a grave mistake or will i look just the acceptable amount of chopped before it becomes too much? also ignore the state of my hair rn, it's the only recent picture i have of myself </3

hello everyone!

i will be attending community college this fall and am also debating enrolling in the CNA (technically PCT) program offered there as well. it starts around the same time as the fall semester does and it's every tuesday and thursday at 3-10pm until january. does anyone here have experience taking a CNA/PCT course while also doing college courses? i am mainly concerned about it possibly affecting my grades.

also what are the chances that i will even find a PCT position that won't conflict with my schedule after i finish the program?

the other CNA program i'm looking at starts in june and is only a month long and would all around be the better option if i could afford it. but unfortunately i'm currently trying to pay off my credit card and taking on more debt would make that harder lol. but if i do take this route i would have my certification, and depending on how fast i can find a job, i would already have a couple months of experience before the semester starts (which i think would make it easier to land a per diem position).

i'm not sure what to do! right now, i'm leaning towards the program offered at the college because i'll be in a better financial position by then. but i'm worried i won't be able to find a position with flexible scheduling that won't interfere with my schooling. i've heard it's hard to get hired as per diem with no experience.

any advice would be greatly appreciated !
