What are some good versions to pkay on?

so ive been in the golden age community for awhile (like a year) and ive been in the silver age community off and on for about half that time, and ive played 1.6.4 and release 1.1, but i wanna know the REAL sweet spots. 1.1 is fun, i like it, and 1.6.4 is also quite enjoyable, but i got bored. i enjoy 1.12.2 (ik it isnt silver age, its more of a late pre modern era) but i wanna play versions actually considered silver age and educate myself on them more! so... yeah. whats the popular versions/the ones you PERSONALLY enjoy?

modpack based on how i personally would make the modern game.

title says it, i basically wanna see if theres any resource packs OR mods OR modpacks you guys like and use that i could take inspo from or add to my own modpack. id like to release it despite it mainly being for personal usage (many people will probably not enjoy it, but i could be wrong). im using forge, on 1.12.2 (one of my fav versions). id prefer if the mods are from curseforge but modrinth is fine, idrc lol. also no i dont support anything abt overwolf and went out of my way to remove ads from my curseforge. thanks if you choose to share some mods! :]

its just the tadc fandom again.

after the tadc finally (spoilers for that ahead) people were none stop arguing abt jax being transgender, and now its happening again. why?

because a male got called a princess. and because a gender neutral term got used for him. thats literally the only two reasons ive seen.

so first of all, people have always used princess as an insult, and while i havent played chapter 5 just yet, i have plenty of spoilers to know well enough that the context was indeed meant to be ragebait. second, they/them isnt exclusive to nonbinary people, the words, they, them, and their, and they're are also gender neutral terms used to discuss either an individual regardless of gender, a group, or a nonbinary person. in this context, they/them was used ONCE in a one off item description. for a so far confirmed male character, that simply has trouble with being themselves.

the problem here, is that everyone is so focused on choosing the gender of someone else, that we're using one off dialog to decipher it as opposed to just letting the story unfold. not to mention the fact that every spoiler ive seen for chapter 5 has been nothing but trans ralsei posts, as opposed to information about chapter 5 for me to be hyped to see.

just let toby write, and let ralsei decide for himself, let him have he/him pronouns, as thats what he is referred to. and can we PLEASE post about ANYTHING ELSE.

ps im not against trans people, be whoever you wanna be!

could someone explain the differences between "sonic" and 2017x?

im all around confused. was "sonic" meant to be a whole redone character of 2017x? or are they seperate entirely?

also, what are the differences between them? and whats their lore?

basically its a FFA fighting game, models are alr but the effects, artstyle, animations, and attacks are AWESOME lol. its sad to see it slowly lose players over time as its barely even a month old.
