Mercury 5 hp parts

Mercury 5 hp parts

Hey guys. I have an older mercury 5 hp I'm rebuilding and I'm looking for the adapter to the external fuel tank.

Can I just run a 3 way barb to the fuel line to a barbed push connect fitting?

There's a blue and black inline something in the actual oem assembly, what is this? Is it necessary?

Attached is the picture of the assembly I'm looking for

Thanks!

Mercury internal external fuel tank

Hello, I have a mercury 5 hp that came with the internal external tank option but I don't have the hook up for the external tank.

Can I just run a quick connect fitting that has a barb on it here?

In pictures online there's a little blue and black piece in-between everything, what is that?

The first picture is what I have, the second picture is the assembly I'm looking for

Thanks guys!

Forklift man basket

Hey guys, my company has a forklift man basket and occasionally uses it.

What are the official regulations that are required for use of this? (Located in Michigan, US)

I really dislike being in it and I'm trying to feel as comfortable as possible, aka convince them this thing is unsafe and to get rid of it

Zerk fittings

Hey guys. I have a bunch of machines with these tiny THK linear rails that need greasing about every 3 months. The only nozzle I've been able to find that fits is this

But I'd like to be able to attach it to a flexible hose to fit tighter spaces

The measurement I've got from the tip is 1.2mm, can I use a needle style tip to refill these?

Desicannt air dryers

Hello all, I am the maintenance tech for an electronics company and we need very dry air, currently we're using a Campbell Hausfeld PA208503AV and it needs daily desiccant replacement and isn't serviceable beyond that.

What would you guys recommend to upgrade?

Simple battery charging in my canoe/truck bed

Hello all! I'm still a newbie to batteries but I want to know more, I'm not new to the electronics world as I manufacture circuit boards for work but I'm definitely not an engineer.

I have a 12v 100ah lifepo4 battery for the trolling motor on my canoe and I was looking for a simple way to add some USB ports and a cigarette lighter port just in case. Maybe build it into an ammo can for portability between the truck bed and canoe bow.

Would something like this be the most basic? How would you do it?
