Via Ferrata Mürren: Solo/Guided

Hi, I’m in my late 20s, moderately fit with regular physical exercises, and have some hiking experience, including a few 6-7+ hour hikes.

I’m travelling solo to Switzerland this July and planning to do the Via Ferrata Mürren route. It’ll be my first via ferrata, so I’m a bit confused about whether I should do it by myself or go with a guide.

My main concern with a guide is the group size. The tours have groups of ~16 people, and I’m worried that might feel a bit crowded, with too many people in front or behind me. I’d prefer some breathing space and the ability to pause if needed.

What would you recommend - solo or with a guide for a first-timer? Also, for anyone who’s done it with a group, did it feel rushed or crowded?

Made a sale for the first time: Should I upload the tickets right away?

Hi, I made my first sale on StubHub today for an event in July that I can no longer attend. The platform is now asking me to upload the tickets in the buyer’s name.

I have already changed the name on the ticket to the buyer’s name to ensure they have a smooth experience. However, I wanted to ask whether I should upload the tickets to StubHub now, or wait until closer to the event date.

My main concern is avoiding any possibility of a scam or the buyer cancelling the sale after receiving the tickets. What would you suggest? Thank you.

Update: Uploaded the tickets the same day, thank you for your suggestions!

Used PayPal for the first time: Need help with "pending" transaction.

I made a payment through a merchant’s website using PayPal as a guest checkout. I did not have a PayPal account at the time of the payment. After the payment, I received an email saying: “Your payment to [seller] is pending” and that the payment would be reviewed and resolved within 72 hours.

The email includes a link to view the transaction details, but when I click it, it takes me to a PayPal sign-in page. Since I did not have an account when I made the payment, I created a new PayPal account using the same email address and phone number that I used for the guest transaction.

However, after signing in, the transaction link appears to be broken, and I cannot find the payment anywhere in my PayPal activity or previous transactions, and the link takes me to a bad request page.

How can I resolve this or get PayPal to link the guest transaction to my new account?

One additional detail: the merchant uses PayPal Europe, while I am located in a different country. Could this affect the review or visibility of the transaction?

Any advice would be appreciated - 72 hours have passed. Thank you.
