I have a Eastwood Hooky P o 6, and I recently bought a set of Fender Bass VI strings, but the ball ends go right through the bridge holes. When I bought the bass I bought a set of Hooky/GHS strings which are great. My problem now is that I need anew set of strings, and I’m in Europe. Is there any way to get a similar set here? Preferably 30-105 strings

I’m planning on going ampless when playing abroad. I’ve tried my luck at a DSM Humboldt Bass Master, which on paper seemed pretty perfect: An analog amp/cab sim with all controls on the box instead of menu diving. It actually sounds great, but it doesn’t take distortion that well IMO, and I play with a lot, all the time. So I’m playing on getting a DSP Nano Cortex + a power amp. This way I can emulate my trusty 2x15” Kustom Tuck’n’roll which I’ve played for +30 years. I’m using a lot of pedals, which I want to continue using, so I don’t need all the other stuff I can do with the cortex
So my question is: would it be overkill to go with a Nano Cortex + power amp, if I want to emulate my amp and still use all the effects I’m used to? Or is there a simpler way of doing this?
Jeg sprang ud i at skulle for sommerventilen for et par dage siden, og slukkede også for cirkulationspumpen - og har planer om at tænde den en gang om ugen i et par minutter. Men jeg kan se at vandtrykket allerede har dalet markant siden. Er der mon en forklaring på det?
Efter 5 år i mit hus føler jeg mig nu voksen nok til at lære om sommerventilen. Jeg går ud fra at jeg drejer på den røde ventil over “radiator” håndtaget. Og herefter slukker jeg på kontakten til cirkulationspumpen? Altså den der står Grundfos på. Og så skal jeg tænde cirkulationspumpen et par gange om ugen? Og hvad så når jeg tager på ferie? Er der mon nogen der kan hjælpe mig med at forstå mit system ?
I bought a DSM Humboldt Bass Master when it came out, because I really liked the idea of a amp/cab sim based on a SVT with knobby controls instead of endless menu diving or going through an app which eventually will die. And the Bass Master has the pre fx signal, which is a great idea. But running my Rat through it (pre fx), it sounds…flat. There’s no depth in the tone. The clean signal sounds awesome, but distorted sounds bad no matter how I set the dials.
I usually run my 80’s rat through a solid state Kustom 250 and 2x15” which sounds massive and gives me the perfect tone and definition.
Maybe I should get something else to take on the road? A neural DSP quad cortex? Tone X? Opus Two notes? I would love something that sounds just similar to my Kustom. But now I’m thinking I have to make my own IR and upload it to a device
I’m thinking of getting a DI box to control my sound. I play hardcore and with lots of distortion. I’m also thinking of buying a stereo version to get to different signals - one with a lower octave/bass sound.
Any ideas on what to get? I heard lots of good things about Radial boxes.
I’m looking for a hassle free way to play samples over a PA from the stage. I have borrowed a Boss RC-3, but I haven’t been able to successfully load samples into it. I have maybe 5 or so samples I want to play between songs.
Jeg har fået skiftet vinduer, og kan ikke montere mit rullegardin som før (vandret). Jeg vil hænge det lodret i lysningen, men på ophænget er der en “dims” som bør kunne drejes for at hænge gardinet lodret. Er der nogen der har erfaring med at vende et Luxaflex rullegardin?
