Parking Ticket - Any way to get it reduced?

I parked in Glen parking lot for 4 days straight without permit as i was working on campus and living there while working. come back and see that ive racked up almost $300 in tickets. i lived in towson freshman housing last year so never had to park, this was my first time parking on campus and stupidly thought i would be fine wi though a permit since it’s summer and the lots are empty anyways. i now recognize my mistake but i quite literally can not pay for this - is it worth it to appeal? this is my first, or rather my first set of parking tickets. i dont expect it to totally go away, but at least getting it somewhat reduced would be a massive help. Is towson known to be lenient on this?

Conflicting messaging from men and women

I’ve been really frustrated lately because I can’t reconcile the positive messaging I get from women with the total lack of attention i get from men. im no model, but objectively, i know looks are not my biggest problem. i clean up pretty nicely since i lost weight, started doing makeup and dressing well. i get compliments pretty often from women, but am essentially invisible to men. Ive never even had a guy express interest in me let alone dated or fooled around. but then again i am also black with no boobs or ass so maybe that is why. I dont believe in “intimidating beauty” but I am started to believe in “girl pretty” and “boy pretty” - the idea that someone’s looks can appeal more to women than to men

Annoying lower belly hair

Help!! i am the only woman i know that grows thick, dense hair on the lower belly region. I don’t have pcos or any hormonal conditions.i just grow hair there for whatever reason and i absolutely hate jt. I shave it every day with an electric bikini trimmer, and the stubble is always very visible within 12 hours, and to make things worse I now have dark marks and bumps from the constant shaving. i sometimes nair, but not all of the time because i dont like waiting for the hair to grow out. I have also waxed it several times and was never able to get through waxing the entire region because it was just so painful. can’t IPL because of my dark skin, and can’t afford laser or electro. what the HELL do I do? i am really at a loss right now, i just want to have a hairless belly, but i don’t want to have to keep shaving everyday and irritating my skin.

Where are all the single men?

somehow managed to get through my freshman year of college without so much as a kiss. It’s said that people are lonelier than ever, but I am not really seeing it. it honestly felt like most guys I met were already taken or interested in someone else.

Am I straight if I find the same sex more attractive?

I am so confused about what my sexuality is. I believe i am a straight woman, but i rarely find men attractive, but have only ever been romantically interested in men. Otoh, I have never ever had a crush on a woman, nor can i see myself getting into a relationship or having sex with another woman, but I find virtually all women my age physically attractive to some degree

To complicate things more, I don’t really care for penises and am frightened by the idea of sex with a man.

Where do you find formal events to dress nicely to?

as a woman who loves beautiful dresses, if you’re a woman basically the only times in your life its acceptable to wear an extravagant dress or ballgown to is your prom and your wedding. i work in a boutique surrounded by absolutely gorgeous dresses and feel bummed that even if I could afford them, I’d have no where to wear them to. what kind of events outside of the ones I listed above can you wear formal clothes and where can you find them?

a running joke among black people is that one of the benefits of going to a predominantly white school or other institution is that you can go outside with your hair looking crazy and nobody will notice or care. I don’t really know what bad hair looks like on white people, like when they say their hair looks greasy, or that someone is a box blond, i never really understand what thats supposed to look like or why it looks bad. does it work the other way around? can white people tell when a black persons hair looks to old/fake/crazy/whatever? or do they notice but not comment?
