I've been noticing a ton of projects out there that have been created through vibecoding and turned into Google Chrome extensions, and I’m seriously impressed. The whole ecosystem is fascinating ... even though I haven’t dived into it myself yet, the idea of taking a small problem and using the current available AI to create a browser extension solution feels like a perfect blend of learning and utility. Of course maintaining it, providing value, and then eventially monetizing it would be the best possible outcome
If anyone knows of standout examples, I’d love to see them. A well‑crafted extension can be a great side project: learn to use AI, build something useful, and give back to the community at the same time. Please point me toward the best projects you’ve come across!!
I’d like to share my recent experience with the Muzz app's Jamaa section ... a networking hub attached to the matchmaking app. I was struck by the overwhelming level of toxicity. Instead of genuine interest in meeting new people, the majority seemed more focused on provoking arguments and venting anger.
It was especially surprising to see folks in their 40s refusing to take responsibility for their own behavior, opting instead to blame others, while simultaneously receiving validation from the community. I mean there comes a time when you stop blaming men, women, community, economy blah blah and understand that if you are stereotyping and casting blame outward, that speaks more about you than anything. That is all I saw. Like this dynamic has turned the space into a battleground of likes and keyboard warriors, rather than a thoughtful environment where members carefully consider whom they wish to meet and how to approach those connections. I posted some of these thoughts in our group (join us) , and some of the feedback I got tracks.
My takeaway within the first couple of weeks is that the atmosphere is unusually hostile. I’m curious whether others have observed the same trend or if I’m misreading the situation.
Also, I’m interested in hearing advice for individuals entering their fourth decade of life. Where do people in their mid 30s and 40s successfully meet potential partners? What strategies work best for you? I cant see anyone spending an hour on Muzz and leaving without overwhelmed especially if they are seeking a sane, constructive experience?
