We're going way back with this one ⛩️

I'll try to keep this short. Hakurei ~ Eastern Wind is my favorite Touhou track. I wanted to try symmetry with this arrange. The patterns, cutoff filters, delays, resonance, bitcrushing and other automation clips are done like that. The dynamics of the intro and bridge are quiet and the choruses hit the ceiling (1-2-1-2-1). I had a specific idea in mind and the art matches it.

This was going to be a chill arrange of Mima's theme but then I got carried away with FM8 and vocoders and it turned into this. It sounds mildly french, doesn't it? Once I realized where it was headed, I made the image fit it as well.

Anyway, yea, this is an arrange of Mima's theme from Story of Eastern Wonderland. Thanks to flowearmom in the comments for reminding me of this theme.

It's been a while since I made a Touhou arrange. My last one was from 2011, released on Distant Phantasm, the first circle of western producers (if anyone remembers). It was called Lick The Administrator, an arrange I made when Ten Desires came out.

Here's my third lobby song from Mahjong Soul. Might as well complete the set and make one for the Winter theme, yea?

Last time someone said my remix didn't sound enough like the original. Now I wanted to knock it out of the park. I reached for some Kontakt instrument libraries I haven't used in years and Synplant is also in there somehow. You can definitely hear the original motifs in this one, and I added my own solo. Hope you enjoy it.
