One of the tournament leaders and veterans said this game is random. What does he mean by this? Does he mean, for example, a player can miss a move because you jumped over them but then immediately recover to hit you with a light jab?

I have an old Casio CTK-480 that someone brought in the 90's and it's at least 3 times louder than this Kawai ES-120, probably even more. In fact, on the lowest volume setting it is so loud that I cannot even play it late at night for fear of waking others up.
So, what's the deal with this Kawai being so low in volume? If people can't hear you play it, if you can't hear yourself playing it, then why all the hype regarding this entry level keyboard?

Btw: it was on a thin, metal X-stand and not the HML-2 wooden stand designed for its bottom facing speakers (the one included in the kit).
