It feels like hooliganism in Satara has reduced significantly over the last 10–15 years. Back then, public fights, groups creating nuisance, and other forms of rowdyness seemed much more common than they do today.Incidences are still there but Satara looks much more calmer than it was before
On the other hand, Karad feels like it’s seen a relative increase in such incidents such as street fights, gangs nuisance have increased over the same period.

If everything was developed solely by a particular community, then why hasn’t that same community developed their own state or any other state to the same extent as Mumbai or Maharashtra did? Leave Mumbai aside, why isn’t there another city comparable to Pune or Thane too for that matter be it entertainment, lifestyle, nightlife,IT or industries or hospitality
Ultimately, a city’s growth depends far more on its state governance, civic administration, infrastructure, and the ability to attract investment than on any single community.
So let’s just stop this East West hate rate and peacefully Live as Mumbaikars or Thanekars.
I’m from a small place in Khatav taluka and travel to Satara for classes. There’s a girl in my batch from a well to do family maybe from Sadar Bazar in Satara. She seems confident, friendly, and mostly speaks English as she is not very fluent in Marathi(Non-Marathi). My friends and I come from a rural background, so we hesitate to even talk to her or her group. Maybe is it just an inferiority complex.
