I was recording my game for any stuff that might happen on my recent run and I've been wondering:
IIRC there's a Smoke Jaguar Mechwarrior named Garrett in the lore that got marooned after his Clan got yeeted out of the IS after Op Bulldog and became an arena gladiator at Solaris (using a Vulture, then a Warhawk).

I've been reporting this bug on a couple of Rep 12 HRQs for quite some time now, I was starting to play this game ago (vanilla) I encountered two HRQs that don't show in the map every time I play a playthrough:
Dragon in Sheep's Clothing HRQ has been fixed this recent June 15th Chaos Reign Patch#1 but the Rise of Black Dragon hasn't been fixed yet it seems, it has been reported many times already by folks for quite some time now (on PGI's discord) as well.
I'm sharing my QoL modlist for my vanilla+ Mercs lest it's affected by mods but I've been experiencing this bug for the more than 8 playthroughs already since I started playing last year, even on my early vanilla runs.

Just tried Gilgamexican's mod OopsAllBugFixesTraits, I was using his old mod OopsAllBugFixes pre-Chaos Reign to fix my vanilla+ Mercs traits that doesn't work (that got fixed with the Chaos Reign DLC update).
This mod's description is:
>simple mod that overrides all vanilla traits to properly display the stats that they offer instead of a flavorful description.
This pilot (Barajas) was from an old playthrough of mine where I used Bobbert's Enhanced Academies to remove traits from my very old pilots that has more than 6 traits that doesn't jive with each other at all and he was my guinea pig.

I still love the Boar's Head even if there's Kodiak-1s already available for Mercs via Chaos Reign DLC. I call them Bear's Head as a nod to the hero Atlas Mech, love the heavy lasers than the usual SBs or pulse lasers that I used long ago.
Currently digging the Rifleman & Jagermech variants along with Natasha's Warhammer and its Royal SLDF counterpart this run and I've been also using AC RFs on my dakka mechs like the Carapace hero mechs. Agincourts are in mechbay ready to be used against the Lyrans and the Ronin.
I'm on my current (8th) run's Rise of Rasalhague DLC campaign doing a fun sandbox of what mechs to use before the start of Shadow of Kerensky DLC campaign. I'm still deciding what personal mech to use against the main antagonists of this campaign (like Nicole Kelswa) but I'm kinda leaning on finally using Arrow IVs against her and the Gotterdammerung Society.

Just trying out my stored Agincourts, Jagermechs and Royal Warhammers that I stored from previous playthroughs and rush through the 1st part of the Rise of Rasalhague campaign. Even with the recent DLC campaigns I always love to return to play the RoR campaign again, always feel this was a cause worth fighting for.
I relish blasting Nicole Kelswa again to pieces small enough for Fahad to powerwash whenever he cleans her Atlas D cockpit back at the Leopard.
I was finishing Kestrel Lancers campaign today, upon finishing I restarted the DLC mission as a scenario at instant action, with all mods turned off. (I was testing out TTRulezAIMod3 beta 0.7 earlier)
Fifth Syrtis Fusiliers and Crater Cobras are under AFFS control in the Sarna campaign IIRC in the lore, but they're fielded in Steiner Colours, I know that these colours are parade colours but might as well use Davion colours. Also Capellan forces are being dropped via dropships that has Davion sigils as well.
I can tune off some of the details that I encountered from my past playthroughs but it's always like this since I started playing Mercs exactly 1 year ago.
Oversight I guess? I dunno, I'm not that knee deep in lore yet but I am learning bit by bit. IIRC by 3025 the Cobras are under AFFS contract around this time and Syrtis Fusiliers (of course) are an AFFS unit under House Hasek of the FedSuns' Capellan March.
Basically entirety of Sarna portion of the campaign the Fusiliers and Crater cobras are in Steiner colours.
Just trying around some builds (SRM ART IVs on my lance of Agincourts, and fielding Otomos and SLDF mechs) to quickly breeze through the Kestrel Lancers campaign for the nth time.
For those who wanna do some sidequests on esp. those who are in their career sandbox runs there's 2 salvageable Firestarter hero mechs in the campaign and one of them the Firestorm appears at the leftmost part of the target generators during Tigress Pt. 2 mission of the Kestrel Lancers DLC campaign. (Has anyone salvaged Sortek's Dragonslayer during the Galahad wargames though)
The other one is the Firestarter Ember appearing at Sarna Pt. 3 mission, during the nighttime city raid where you destroy buildings after finishing the >!Comstar forces in Sarna's HPG station.!<

Bring Her Home Pt. 4 HRQ against DCMS forces. Longest speech of Henrik Cole from all my recent runs, salvaged the MAD-4A there with the lowest share yet (24) with minimal Davion rep (30 shares total). MAD-4A and VTR-BSK was excess inventory so was sold immediately.

NGL just had a double take and realized I'm fielding an Unseen lance for quite some time now. My fave Unseen 'mech for me in terms of performance is the Archer, aesthetically the Crusader

Usually I run Firestarter As that I got as a reward from the Bounty Hunter, but I kinda like the ballistic prowess of Firestarter X1s may it be on gunnery or jumpjets
I'm new to Mechwarrior/Battletech IP and the best selling point about me in this game was the replayability of it. This is the first time I broke a thousand hours of playing a game on PC and Mercs was the game that took me out of game fatigue, especially weaned me out of live-service games.
Best of all the folks at the community are relatively chill, and most were very helpful and fun to talk with, kudos to you all.
I had issues with my current run, budget for DLC equipment went down after spending a couple billion buying stuff so I had to farm arenas (again) and my objectives were:
I started this current playthrough last March, took a 2-month break before Chaos Reign. My strat before was just sheer arena farming and earn rare clantech given as rewards and buy everything using your earnings. This was the way I hoarded stuff like Clan ATMs, Gauss rifles and pulse lasers aside from market purchases when SoK got released last September.
My goal/theme next playthrough is to use blue/rare mechs as much as possible while continuing the headcanon of a mysterious merc company from the periphery like a bootleg Wolf's Dragoons from Temu.

Usually I experienced FPS drops on explosive greeblies, especially on huge proc-gen complexes when it goes into successive, chain explosions.
Right now I'm experiencing severe FPS drops in the Solaris-only jungle FFA map at Solaris VII, especially when wading your mech into the river with smoky/wispy VFX. I'm using a 3060 and regularly pulling 120 fps but always experiencing drops in this match.

Usually I like LBX slugs but I kinda like LBX ACs on a couple of my Carapaces so as to use some hoard of LBX ACs that I hoarded. Excited to use these on the next run's SoK run, especially against elementals at Rodigo.
