Marshalls experts, is this a great deal or something “made for Marshalls”?
I like this sweater either way but it’s certainly more fun if it was a fantastic find! Thanks for your help!

I bought this machine at a used craft supply thrift store for $15. They were clear they weren’t sure it worked. As my secondary hobby is rehabbing machines (or trying to!) I decided to risk the $15. After all, I’vd paid that much for an espresso martini! Lolol It also had all the accessories and the manual so what the heck, right?
Indeed, when I got it home it did not work. I took it apart, cleaned it up, oiled it up and holy cow, this was the best rehab I’ve done so far! This machine is fantastic! It’s almost all metal (including the extension table) and runs like a dream.
Why did Singer have to go south? They clearly made great machines at
I need some instant sewing gratification once in a while, this project only took only one FIFA World Cup game to complete, lol.. I did not have a pattern, I just measured the card and went for it!
My current obsession is sewing with clear vinyl so the pocket on this fit the bill nicely!
Thank you for letting me share!
I am fortunate to have a gently used craft shop near me. I scored this Baby Lock Companion today for $25! The note said “seems to be working fine” and indeed it does!
I do like to tinker with sewing machines and feel confident taking them apart, cleaning and oiling them and putting them back together. This one surely needs a cleaning but it runs fine!
Did I *need* another machine? Absolutely not, lol. But she was so cute I couldn’t just leave her there, could I?
I also like to have a machine like this to give/lend to new sewists who are hesitant to purchase a machine before knowing if they’ll like the hobby. And a secondary hobby of mine is tinkering with sewing machines so everyone wins!
Now off to find the manual on line, lol
