To mint or not to mint

I bought a mint plant because I thought it might be interesting. But I have no use for it and as I was told they are prolific. They grow like a mofo. I'm gonna toss the fkr.

But before I do, does anybody have any ideas how it can be used?

For the record folks, the son of a bitch is in a pot.

Gardeners, tell me about your hoses.

I bought a house,(hose, phone fkd me), good deal from a home center that was closing. But the bloody thing keeps cracking and splitting in places. Do more expensive hoses do the same thing? Im thinking ahead for next time I buy one.

Update: Thanks for all the replies folks. It is in a roller box out of the sun, but it often collapses and splits inside the nox. The parts that stay straight are ok. So I feel like it's a cheap POS. I'll invest in a better one next time.
