I started metformin on 05/12. started on 500mg. then after experiencing diarrhea daily my dr switched me to the ER version. no diarrhea thankfully. started taking it twice a day. continued my calorie deficit & treadmill 2x sometimes 3x a week. I started at 190 and now i’m 194!!! like HOW is that possible? i’m getting so frustrated. has anyone else had this problem? any advice is appreciated. I have an upcoming appointment to discuss maybe getting on a higher dose or trying something else.

hello, I started metformin on wednesday. I take it with my dinner. yesterday i took it the same way. soon after I got the poops and this morning I also had very loose stool. I did have a burger and fries last night for dinner. so idk if that’s what contributed to it. i’m taking 500mg a day for now. any advice? i’m not trying be s*itty at work on tuesday 😔 thank you in advance. it’s the regular metformin not the ER.

i’ve been married for a year and some months. I love my husband. I moved from my town to his. we live with his brother (who is unemployed) his wife, their kid. my husband’s mom, my husband’s step dad and his son. the bathroom is always occupied and so is the kitchen. I noticed today that his mom and stepdad got home at the same time. I knew the bathroom was going to be occupied. so I just decided to stay in my car & watch tiktok’s. my mother in law came to check on me asking why I didn’t wanna go inside. I just said I’d go in a bit. I feel like all I do is work and don’t have any friends to hang out with. it’s quit depressing. my husband called me asking why I was in my car. I honestly just wanted time for myself. his brother is always yelling and cursing, his mom fights with her husband and I just feel stressed out and overstimulated most of the time. I rather not be home. am I wrong for feeling this way?

hello ladies, i got what I assumed is my period sunday evening. I actually got it a few days earlier than expected. my period has always been normal. I took a pregnancy test a couple days before and it was negative. it started light and progressed a bit but today, tuesday. it's gone. I see a bit pink when I wipe. could it possibly be implantation bleeding? I had sex on my ovulation days about 13 days ago. this is the first time i've experienced this. could someone please tell me their experience. thank you!
