Asking for advice / resources and prefacing this by saying I’m just starting out learning embroidery. I’m on my second kit and I cannot get a handle on French knots. Is there a trick to getting them cute and tight? I’ve watched a few YouTube videos and I can do a nice looking knot maybe 1 in 10 tries… maybe I’m pulling too hard on the thread in the wrong spot? Any help much appreciated!

I’m 42, fair skin. I love my skin care routine, but I get random hormonal pimples on my chin, specifically. I’ve tried many patches and I have a few I like (zit sticka, Hero), but I also love crowd sourcing. Anyone have any patches they love for deep “not yet there but kinda hurt” pimples?

I’m extraordinarily late to the retinol game. 42/f, fair skin / light eyes. My esthetician recommended AlphaRet as her HG, and I do really like other SkinBetter products. Also a fan of Revision products. I’m just trying to research before purchasing and wondering if anyone has a preference on either of these - or if something else entirely is your go-to! TIA!!

My routine for reference: gentle cleanser (ulta bought), <need new toner - currently using SOS>, Alto Advanced + DEJ serum, Dermalogica dynamic skin recovery moisturizer (day time)… trying to find my night time finisher.
