Hello, I have read a lot of negative reviews on international brand rental car companies at Cancun airport. It seems that they will force you to buy local insurance.
I would like to know, what is the local insurance? I am booking a reservation on Hertz.com. I add the CDW and TIP directly during the booking. Is that enough? Or they would force you to buy something not on the Hertz.com?
My flight will arrive Cancun at 7PM. I need extra time to pick up baggage, and rent a car. I guess it would be 8PM to drive out of the airport. Is the time safe for driving to hotel zone? I read some posts saying do not drive during the night.
My 2024 Honda Prologue has only 24000 Mileage on it, but one of the front tire was worn out, the rest of the three are in poor condition too, at around 5/32 to 4/32. I couldn't image how a new car carries with such poor tires.
The problem I am facing is, my lease is only 6 months left. I have no plan to buy the car when the lease ends. I expect by the date I return my car, I would have another 8000 miles on it. So I am 6 months and 8000 miles left on this car. It is suboptimal to me to replace those tires with new ones. I don't want to put $1500+ on it.
Dealers said those tires doesn't have warranty. I need to pay out of pocket.
Can I replace them with old tires, and other brands? Does the replacement tire must be EV compatible? Should I replace all four tires or just the two front tires?
What is the best options to me?

I purchased a Dyson V11 Outsize cordless vacuum from Costco just over two years ago for more than $300. It is now unusable because it continuously displays an “Airway blocked” warning.
I thoroughly cleaned the vacuum and followed all the troubleshooting instructions provided by Dyson Customer Service, but nothing resolved the problem. After researching the issue online, I found many reports suggesting that this model may have a significant design flaw—either certain internal components cannot be properly cleaned or the sensor itself may fail.
I purchased the vacuum only two years and two months ago, and I have used it very lightly—at most three times per month. I am extremely disappointed that such an expensive appliance failed after so little use.
When I contacted Dyson Customer Service, the representative told me that the two-year warranty had expired and that Dyson would not repair the vacuum free of charge, even though it was only two months out of warranty. Instead, she suggested that I purchase another refurbished vacuum for more than $200, with only a six-month warranty.
This is not a reasonable solution. If the problem is caused by a known design flaw, I would not feel comfortable purchasing another refurbished unit that could develop the same issue.
I am very disappointed with both Dyson’s product quality and its customer support. Has anyone experienced the same problem or found a successful solution? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I just came back from China. I brought USmobile (on Galaxy 24+) and Google Fi (on Galaxy s25 edge) together to test the speed.
Here is what I found:
They are both good during the mid night and early morning. Download Speed at 40 - 70 Mbps
When I go to shopping mall where a lot of people crowded together, Google Fi is noticeable faster than US mobile.
During the 3 weeks time, I used all of the 20Gb US mobile roaming data. I sometimes watch Youtube, but not frequently. I think 20Gb is only enough for normal activity. Data was consumed a lot faster than in US.
Hello, I am debating myself on whether to stay in All inclusive hotel. We are a group of 6 people, including seniors and children. When I do price quotes for all inclusive hotels, I found the price is always extra $xxx for extra person. Which means, I just prepaid my food for the hotel. If I don't go to all inclusive hotels, I could save the money and eat anywhere I want. It is a large group, I want to calculate the best money efficient way to book the entire trip. Hi all, I accidentally scratched my leased Prologue. The body shop wanted $4000+ for the repair. My lease is going to end and I want to return the car. My insurance has $500 deductible. What are the options do I have?
Should I repair the car using my insurance before return the car? Or should I return the car directly and let the dealer negotiate with my insurance for the repair? Are there any other options?
