There's always a lot of chatter whenever I mention stealth in ships. Here is how IR suppression works. Active hull cooling is achieved through thin wall water distribution (water sleeting). Sea water injection loops are used for the hot spots. The Total Atmospheric Control System (TACS) of the Visakhapatnam-class and Nilgiri-class ships regulates the internal temperature of the entire ship, ensuring that heat doesn't escape through the hull to the outside.
