Need app to record my RR when sleeping.

I have a Polar H10 and both a Pixel and an iPhone. Looking for a reliable app to record my RR when sleeping at night.

Right now I am using my Pixel with the Polar Sensor Logger and it is just not reliable. It rarely records the entire night for some reason.

I often times only get an hour or two of data.

I would like to find something reliable that records RR every second that I can then use Gemini or load in Google Sheets to find the largest RR value.

I prefer a free app but would be willing to pay.

Any help appreciated!

Have Wenckebach (Mobitz Type I second-degree heart block) and seeking advice on PM

I have a Wenckebach heart block and had it now for a couple of years but only diagnosed last year.

I have not had any symptoms of any kind. It also never happens when I am working out.

I had a stress test which I pass without any issue. I had been cycling most mornings doing about 4,000 feet of climbing and spending about 2 hours in Zone 4 and 5. Plus I run/walk on average 25,000 steps a day and then also lift for about an hour. Upper body one day and then lower the next. I try to lift 7 days a week and ultimately average 6 days.

So I am very active. I am in my mid 60s. The issue is that my heart is now getting down to as low as 20 when I sleep. My heart will go down to high 20s when just sitting in bed reading Reddit but I feel fine.

Here is a typical night with my heart. This is from a Polar H10 and an app on my phone. I also wear an Apple Watch and Fitbit Air but they do not pick it up nearly as bad. The Apple watch only thinks my heart goes down to 30 at night.

https://imgur.com/a/iZrqnOk

I have gone to a cardiologist. Which was a very weird experience. They had me wear a monitor and when my heart went down to 20 they actually wanted me to go to the ER in the middle of the night but somehow the message never got to me.

They asked me the next day to go see a Pace Maker specialist. The PM specialist told me that since I had no symptoms I did not need a Pace Maker. That I definitely did not need to go to ER.

I also just recently consulted Gemini and according to Gemini you do not die from the type of heart block I have. It indicates there is next to zero chance.

The issue is that I am freaking out a lot that my heart is now spending so much time in the 20s at night.

I have stopped doing any zone 4 or 5 work and pretty much now just walking doing a little running and a ton of lifting. But I really miss working out. My block actually goes almost completely away when it is winter and I am not cycling and when I am about 15 pounds heavier.

I would like to hear from others that have a similar situation what their experience has been?

Thanks in advance for any help.

How will the new Gemini Siri affect ChatGPT usage?

Watching the Apple WWDC and at least in demos the new Gemini Siri looks pretty incredible.

Curious what people think what this means in use of ChatGPT with consumers?

The best safety device for cycling in my 50+ years of riding

I am old. Really old. I have also been extremely lucky. I have never been hit by a car.

But I have always felt it was just a numbers game and eventually it was going to happen.

About 2 years ago I purchased a Varia radar. RTL515 to be specific but I am pretty sure there is now others and do not think the model matters that much.

Basically you put it on your seat post and it also includes a blinking red light. It is radar that looks out behind you and monitors for cars.

I also wear Airbuds in my ears when I ride. So if there is a car behind me I get an audible notification and this is just incredibly helpful for safety,

I did also purchase a Wahoo computer last year that also shows you on the display if there is a car behind you and how close behind you it is located.

I rarely recommend things. That is my sister. She basically recommends anything she uses.

But in this case it is so helpful that I wanted to write a post for the subreddit to express how much safety this device offers.

Never seen a dog as willful and love it but can be frustrating

I am old and had many dogs through the years. Plus my wife has sheltered dogs from time to time.

But I have never seen a dog as confident and headstrong as our Catahoula.

We really knew nothing about the breed until adopting the Catahoula from a shelter.

In a lot of way I love how headstrong she tends to be. I am retired and take her on a lot of walks and she insists on deciding where we are going to walk.

I have now been watching a few YT videos on the breed and the things they are saying are so accurate with ours.

A big one is that fact she wants to be part of everything. Not the type of dog you leave at home. She follows me around the house and if I am not home then it is my wife.

But if we are both not home then she always goes in and lays with one of our kids. Luckily there is someone home pretty much all the time. When we go on vacation we take her with us.

The one things that she does that is a bit frustrating is that she runs up on strangers. She is not aggressive at all. But when she runs up on people it appears like it will be aggressive even though she is wagging her tail. She is very social.

She is also probably the fastest dog we ever had. We also have a Pit. Which is also younger than her. But does not have a prayer keeping up with the Catahoula. Eventually the Pit just stands while the Catahoula runs circles, literally, around the Pit at just an amazing speed.

I suspect we will have atleast one Catahoula going forward.

Did everyone lose start players on Yahoo?

Doing my normal work with my fantasy baseball teams this morning and can no longer find a start active players button.

There is some new button that just gives me an error called Assistant GM. Every time I click it I get "an error as occurred, Please try again".

Yahoo H2H points league. Does having closers make sense?

I have played fantasy baseball for years and this is the first year I have adopted a strategy of no closers.

So far it seems to be a winning strategy as my teams are doing better than they have ever done before.

I am curious if others have tried this strategy and what they think of it?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts!

Edit: I probably should have just included the default points league scoring with Yahoo. You get 3 points for an inning pitched (3 outs and a point per out). You get 4 points for a save.

Need a real wheel for my 24 Model Y Performance. Help!

My 2024 Performance Model Y rear wheel started leaking within a couple of months of buying the car.

I had not purchased special wheel warranty so Tesla was not willing to help with the issue.

I am considering buying a replacement wheel off of Ebay.

I found some that are $200. But my concern is the matching of color.

Like to hear what others have done? Does it make sense to buy one of these wheels off of Ebay?

\Do the wheels that you can buy off of Ebay usually match the others?

I have a son that is good at painting. Is it possible to paint the wheel so it matches?

Any help is very appreciate. I am way out of my knowledge base with this.

Going to buy my wife a Palisade Calligraphy and bumped into a video on YT yesterday that indicated the sales had been stopped because of a horrible situation where the power seats crushed a little kid.

Does the resolution make the car a no buy?

On the earnings call Google shared they were going to recognize over 50% of their $462 billion dollar backlog in the next 24 months.

That would make Google cloud operation have $310 billion of revenue in 2 years.

The current margins for their cloud business is 33%. But increasing. The backlog for Google includes both cloud and chips so think a 40% margin is reasonable.

That would give Google $124 billion of new earnings. Apple in 2025 made $117 billion or actually LESS than the size of Google's cloud business in 2 years.

If we look at market cap it means Google should be over a $7 trillion dollar company and that is only using a multiple of 30. It could be higher. Heck it is 35 right now. Or could be lower obviously. If we use a 25 multiple you still a $6.5 trillion dollar company.

Why is nobody talking about this?

What do I have wrong here?
