When does zombies break out of being fun for you?

I was watching a Dougnuts video from a couple of months ago where he was talking about the “fun zone” of zombies. Where the fun zone is the threshold where a game (as in in game not an entire game) stops being fun to the player.

For example, this video made me realize I stop having fun with zombies games often times as soon being able to kill with the gun that I am using. But gain some fun back if high round strats are a bit more active. For instances any of the BO3 maps, you can train and use AATs. But something like trap strats is super boring to me. Or like terminus for instance, the best strategy is sitting in the corner in the wonder weapon room til 70 and then spamming manglers in the same room the rest of the game, that’s just not fun to me. For liberty falls, the 2 strategies is tapping the wonder weapon on the bank roof and then move to the area by the bowling alley for manglers.

Maps that have strong wonder weapons that are usable for a large part of the high rounds are also some of my favorite maps. Shadows, origins, DE.

But all this made me question what is the threshold when you stop having fun in a single zombies

Worst Habit as a player?

I have been playing through BO3 recently and have been wanting to get to round 100 on every map. I’m on the giant right now and holy shit as this been a struggle for me.

I usually die to the same thing every time. I try to be too cute with “efficiency” instead of playing to survive and not worry about waste.

For instance, if I know a dog round is next round instead of spamming the alchemical that I have in my inventory to get through to the next round I’ll try to get cute to waste as little ammo as possible.

Or instead of consistently cycling power vacuum, I will save every gobble gum until the last possible second to be more “efficient” but by this time I usually end up trapping myself

So it made me curious if anyone else has this issue but then also what other zombie players feel is there worst habit as a player

Community Participation Post Ban Evasion Question

I mostly participated in one community on this account, during a discussion one day, I said the R word, I shouldn’t have it wasn’t at any specific person which doesn’t make it right but nonetheless.

Later on in the day while having a discussion on a different post my account got a 3 day mute from the sub for what I had said above. I hopped on my alt account because I just wanted to finish the back and forth I was having. I instantly got hit with a 7 day reddit suspension on my main account and a permanent ban from the subreddit in my alt account. I truly had no idea that there was strict, let alone any ban evasion rules though it makes perfect sense. I just didn’t know and wouldn’t have done so if I had known, in my head I was just trying to finish my conversation.

So with this I have a 2 part question.

1, if I ever interact with that subreddit again with my main account will I immediately get another account suspension for ban evasion even though my account only had a 3 day mute from this sub previously

2, if the previous answer is yes, is there anything I could do to interact in this subreddit again? Like could I delete the alt account or anything? I love interacting with this subreddit and it seemed to be blown out of proportion over two simple mistakes that I have obviously learned from

Modrinth/Prism launcher Questions

I am currently using Lunar client, used badlion then stopped playing and recently came back and picked up lunar

Since I have been getting back into the swing of things I see a lot of people suggest the two options and I have 3 questions around these as a very casual player.

  1. I see so so many people suggest them but a question I have is why. Like if all of the mods are on lunar for instance what makes these two that much better.
  2. Are either of these 2 options "preconfigured" so to speak to have ideal HUD layout or settings that I can tweak minorly but not have to completely setup every setting over again.
  3. Do they have dungeon solvers? I have been enjoying doing dungeons again with LC having the secret solvers so I don't have to memorize them all and if I were to make the switch I think they would need to have dungeon solvers there

If you guys have any added information that these questions didn't quite cover, feel free to include what you have

Sorry if this qualifies as "duplicate posts" however what people have posted seems to be a bit more "general" than I am looking for.

I am someone that likes to follow guides that have check lists such as "first do x, then do y, then do z, etc". For instance, I enjoy modpacks that have quest books to follow so I can have the "order".

So my question would be is there somewhere via a google doc, excel sheet, dcord, that would have a fairly extensive check list that I can follow? Or even more specific checklists per skill

I have a profile that is right around a day one profile but I have played on and off for years now so I have progressed pretty deep into the game but almost none of it I have grinded for myself which makes me kind of uninterested in my profile. So theres a lot of these new updates (and general progression in general) that I have just skipped because I AFKd for a year with slime minions.
