I just got banned on hinge; never had a problem and used it for years. All I did different prior to the ban was I used an identical copy+paste intro to two of my new matches.

I appealed through the app (it says I have 6 months to appeal before account is permanently deleted). After submitting appeal I received an email asking me to verify my government ID via Jumio to proceed. I’ve been reading through many Reddit posts and I’ve seen so many comments saying to avoid verifying through Jumio.

Is this an irrational fear of the ID verification or is there good reason to avoid it? I personally don’t feel comfortable sharing my government ID with any 3rd party but hinge has sort of been a really great way for me to meet people and go on dates and I’m feeling a little crushed because the other dating apps I did not have the same experience.

Very confused about something that just happened: I checked the tracking number and in the package history it says:

"We've corrected the apartment number, and the package is on its way to the updated address."

l made no requests for any changes. Not only that, but l've triple checked my delivery address on the Shopify confirmation page and it is the same way I have always entered it. (The only difference is everything was typed in lowercase)

Should I reach out to UPS or Travis customer service?

If anyone has experienced something similar please chime in, it would be much appreciated.
