Just that viral horror or books about horror going viral

Just finished DCC and loved the light heartedness of it, would love something else light and funny…yes…I know about Discworld….and yes it scares me because it’s so big

Looking for suggestions where Death is a character, either as a narrator (like in The Book Thief) or is the main character of the story, or as a side character. But Death is there somewhere! Will take any genre, comedy, drama, fantasy, horror, whatever! Surprise me!

Edit: Thank you all!!! You have given me so many amazing suggestions!

I feel so bad for the poor molting Cardinals!

I’ve been obsessed with Dungeon Crawler Carl this Summer! Might be my age, but never knew there was a whole genre like this! Would love to have some other books with that vibe!

Was showing my nephew the new figures and he goes “Wait a sec…” and drops the OGs on me!

Could only think of movies where this happens. (I’m probably just blanking on something) but books where evil triumphs over good. The bad guy wins! Can be any genre

Looking for horror stories that leave you a sobbing emotional wreck at when your finished!

So my daughter graduated High School and is going to college as a Marine Biology major! So of course I tracked down one of these! Now the question; do I give it to her beginning of college or when she graduates?

So angry!!

Poor guy!!
