Pancreas?
Hi everyone,
I’ve been on a long 3 months of trying to figure out what is going on and just looking for stories of anyone who had anything similar. I am a 28 year old female.
I got 2 ct scans in march that showed an enlarged liver at 20cm, I saw a liver specialist and did a fibroscan which showed no fibrosis and all liver labs were normal and he said no follow up needed.
I had an ultrasound may 1 that showed the liver size as 15.2cm. No clarification on size difference from liver specialist as he said I shouldn’t be worried about the size when all other functions are normal.
I get RUQ and LUQ pains usually in the morning upon waking that prompts my lower stomach to cramp and then an urgency to have a bowel movement. My bowels have been soft but intact for the most part, some days there is an abundance of poop, it’s astonishing how much sometimes. They smell pretty foul most days.
Over the last few days the RUQ and LUQ pains are brought on throughout the day from food, most notable is I had a iced chai for the first time in a long time and it started to ache, also I had a steak last night and it started up again.
They tested my stool for my pancreatic elastase enzynes april 28th and they were normal, they checked h pylori in march, and also calprotectin stool may 1st that was normal.
I am being referred to gi specialist now but they are booked until July.
Just seeing if anyone has had anything similar?
I have researched everything under the sun and seeing if this could be gallbladder dyskenesia, bile acid malabsorption, or anything in that ballpark of digestive issues?
Thank you!
