Questionable decor in recently renovated Tim's

I saw this in the recently renovated Tim's down the road from me and couldn't help but laugh.

Did nobody notice this family is going to die in a head on crash?

No hands on the wheel, late at night, driving on the wrong side of the road, heading toward oncoming traffic... poor family. :(

2025 Elantra Luxury Hybrid windshield issue - warranty?

I bought a 2025 Elantra Luxury Hybrid (Canadian) last October.

I made it all the way into January before the first little bit of snow fell on it.

I used a proper snow brush, lightly, to clear my car, just that one time.

I got back in the car and my windshield looked like it was attacked by Wolverine. All my other windows were fine.

I've brushed snow off multiple other cars with the same brush and no other vehicle or window has been damaged (including the other windows on my car, and other Elantras).

On one hand I understand that I used my brush on my windshield (self inflicted), but on the other hand, I feel like cars bought and sold in Canada * should have windshields strong enough to have snow lightly brushed off them.

I brought the issue up to the sales manager and to his credit, he agreed with me. Unfortunately he is no longer at the dealership and the service manager won't take me seriously. I'd like to bypass the dealership and reach out to Hyundai Canada directly.

I'm trying very hard to maintain a diplomatic tone about it but every time I get in my car it upsets me.

Essentially, my position is either there is something wrong with my windshield making it not as strong as it should be and Hyundai should be happy to replace it under warranty, or, this is how strong Hyundai makes their windshields (which seems unlikely) and people should know that before buying.

For what it's worth I had concerns about my windshield before this too. My glasses would tint while driving which shouldn't happen if the windshield had proper UV coating on it (doesn't happen in any other car, including other Hyundais), and it's much noisier than it should be considering it's supposed to have an acoustic, sound dampening windshield.

It's my third Elantra, and other than the windshield I love it.

Has anyone had similar issues?

Am I crazy?

Does anyone have any recommendations if I can't get it done through warranty?

Secrets Playa Blanca vs Secrets Playa Mujeres (cost analysis)?

My wife and I are looking at these two resorts for early December.

We know Playa Blanca is generally considered the better resort, HOWEVER, for a one week stay Playa Blanca would cost us $2200 (CAD) more than Playa Mujeres.

So my question is, is Playa Blanca $2200 per week better ($1100 per person per week)?

(this price includes the same flights, and transfers, same entry level room)
