lol jk as always my amazing partner takes all the pictures with both of my hands in them. here’s my take on the gorgeous american flag blue reflecting pool! currently surrounded by smoke bc of the wildfires around, screw fireworks. the smoke inhalation is no joke. luckily i am safe but countless others around me have had to leave everything they know behind only to hope its still there whenever this fire gets sorted out. this mani was one of chaos and the loopiness that comes with being sick so i honestly cannot say the amount of coats i did of each polish.

this mani is a bit out of the box but i love it. since 2019 i’ve been obsessed with dead malls, this one in particular has always been one of my favorites. sadly forest fair/cincinnati mills closed in december of 2022 and was heartbreakingly demolished in september of 2025. i never was able to visit but i feel like ive been there in my heart. print is from u/gueede

i needed something sparkly after a hard week
i fell flat on my back at work and then the next day i slipped in my bathroom (luckily i caught myself) and bruised the whole top of my foot. after both incidents i was thinking “man im so glad that i didnt break a nail” 😑 last night my pinky nail broke. so i said f it and just threw on a press-on. at least my nails are sparkly!! here’s to a better week ahead

i finally got my mooncat order from the sale and i’m obsessed with both of the colors i got. i was a little disappointed at first bc i thought my bottle was defective since my nails weren’t changing in the sun but it was my fault for waiting until just before sunset when the uv index was at zero to try it out 😂 i tried it the next day and whew i love the golden yellow green it changes to!

from the time i was a wee thing i always felt different from all the other people my age but younger me didn’t have the words and concepts to explain and understand how i felt. i tried to ignore this feeling of being different for many years until i started highschool and i met a friend that used they/them pronouns. i instantly felt that this was right and that this aligned with who i am. for many years however, it felt like if i were to become who i am it would be a burden to those i love and only be confusing and frustrating. it would be 5 more years until i met my amazing fiancé who is trans and so authentically himself and open with who he is, for me to feel confident enough to officially come out as non binary. if it weren’t for him i would’ve been stuck in a loop of knowing myself but being to scared to show the world who i am. i am constantly evolving and changing and discovering new things about myself. happy pride, we’re here, we’re queer, and we’re not going anywhere.🌈🤍

i wanted something a little simple this week after doing so many time consuming manis for the last few weeks. i couldn’t resist adding some little lady bug friends though, force of nature just has such a dappled sunlight on a forest floor in late spring vibe.

missing vegas a lot lately, so i wanted to go for an old vegas glitzy kind of vibe. this one took forever and i used a new-to-me technique to make the welcome to las vegas sign. i painted top coat on a ziplock bag and then painted the sign on, once it was fully dry it peeled off the ziplock like a dream. i ended up having to do it four times bc on the first two i used a basecoat which did not peel off easily😭

clearly i want it to be halloween already lol. i was going for cool antique shop vibes and im obsessed. these took about 3 hours and then i ended up redoing a few nails because i dropped a bottle of nail polish and it went EVERYWHERE 🥲 also as a disclaimer i do not support orly, all of my name brand colors are thrifted from my job

i love love love how jelly polish looks but im on a strict budget so i thrift a lot of my nail polish. this was a frankenpolish that i made a few days ago and i finally got around to trying it, im kind of obsessed! 🌸🩷

the glitter is technically a body glitter that had aloe vera in it. i got it years ago though and all of the aloe vera has evaporated/dried up, just in case though i soaked it in some rubbing alcohol before putting it on my nails. :D

i bumped my pinkie yesterday and i thought it was fine, went to adjust my blanket this morning and she broke. i tried to repair with a teabag but alas, she was broken nearly all the way across. at least my pinky nails grow freakishly fast. 😔 keep me in your thoughts during this troubled time.
