What’s your oddly specific comfort zone or activity, and does it reflect your MBTI type? Or is it simply part of your individuality?

People are beyond the four letters assigned to their personality, and even within the same type, there can be many differences based on someone’s hobbies, interests, background, and experience overall. So, tell me about you!

To start, I am an ISFJ, and one of my very specific comfort is wandering around new places and trying different foods. I’m talking domestic and international travel. I love seeing what a place has to offer, taking in some touristy sights, and eating delicious grub. I don’t need a detailed plan filled out for adventure, and I stumble upon random adventures while traveling. Does this reflect my MBTI type, or is it just me being me? 😼

My finished art piece for charity

I used a shadow box and created this pipe cleaner artwork for a charity auction. This took me months and many hours of work! I’m so happy to share this here, and I would appreciate any comments!

When you are under a lot of stress, which function(s) do you misuse?

When I’m under a lot of stress, I think I’m most likely to misuse my Si and Ne.

My Si starts replaying conversations nonstop and trying to figure out what happened. I will revisit every detail, reread everything, and try to collect evidence as I anxiously try to retrace all my steps.

Then my Ne joins in and starts generating every possible explanation: “What did this punctuation mean? What did this silence mean? Oh no, everything is ending.” Suddenly my brain has 20 different scenarios running at once.

What I could actually benefit from is using more of my Ti, but it doesn’t work sometimes 🤣🥲! My Ti should step in earlier to actually focus on the facts before I run wild with my imagination on something that might not be true at all.

Sadly, in times of stress, Ti doesn’t get its chance to weigh in before Si and Ne take over!

I melted parmesan cheese with it, toasted the focaccia with olive oil, stir fried leftover chimichurri steak and bell peppers, and added Thai basil and balsamic vinegar!
