High NK cell count - what to do?

Hello
I just found out I have high natural killer cells… my IVf doctor hasn’t come back to me as it’s the weekend. I’m day 12 of a natural cycle preparing for a FET. Is it too late to start taking steroids? Or what point in the cycle do you start taking them??
Hopefully my doctor will reply eventually but please let me know if you know! Thanks!

Can taking Cyclogest a month before FET help?

I’ve heard taking Cyclogest in the luteal phase of your cycle can help the month before a FET to reduce inflammation and prime endometrium, is this true??

Anything else other than suppression that can help with mild adenomyosis? my doctor doesn’t think I need to down regulate before as it’s mild but I’m still worried

Immunology testing - is it worth it?

I have one euploid to transfer so want to give myself the best chance!

After a couple of failed transfers (untested embryos) I have a hysteroscopy next week but wondered if it’s also worth doing the immunology tests? I am tight money wise so tempted to skip further testing but then also want to get this right.

or can I do the “kitchen sink” approach and take steroids just in case but not sure that covers all potential issues!

advice would be appreciated please! thanks!

Mild adenomyosis - what to do?

To all women with mild adenomyosis, did you do anything differently for a successful embryo transfer in the month of transfer and/or before?

I have had a couple of failed transfers and worried it may be my adenomyosis but the embryos were untested so my clinic thinks it was likely the embryos.

I now have a euploid to transfer and want to give myself the best shot so wondered if those who also had a mild case of adenomyosis could help.. did you do anything differently for a successful FET?

Thanks!

Urgent advice needed on PGT a testing

Hi ladies,

I am stressed - have to get back to the lab today, probably in the next few hours!

I have a euploid embryo from my last round (I'm age 40).. I just did another round for a back up but feel a bit sick at how much money I'm spending.

Out of 3 fertilised eggs I have 3 x 5 day blastocysts which is obviously amazing news but where as I was tempted to skip testing before now it feels more of a decision!

2 x blastocysts are ready today (morning of day 6) both BC.. one was ready last night I think.. another blastocyst is not quite strong enough to biopsy and they are leaving another day to morning of day 7.

Do I just FREEZE ? hopefully I may not need these embryos anyway as we only want 1 child and fingers cross my euploid from last round works..

but if it doesn't it may be good to know which of these embryos is euploid otherwise I could waste months transferring non-viable embrys!

What would you do??

Is knowledge power? or do I protect my dwindling bank balance and just see these embryos as back ups that I may hopefully never need..? and if I do need to transfer maybe I can do 2 at one time to save on transfer costs later on!

Leaning towards just freezing them to save myself spending more money, and also worry about the small risk of biopsy, PLUS hoping I never need to use them... but also worried I am not making a sensible decision and so wanted to hear your thoughts!

What would you do in my position? Thank you in advance!

Day 4 update - could any of these make it?

Just had my morning update on day 4. I have 3 embryos left - one is compacting which they said is good news and hopefully on track to be a blastocyst. but the other 2 haven’t yet - one is 12 cells, the other 9 so the embryologist didn’t seem too optimistic on these 2. Could the 12 cell still have a chance or unlikely?!

I’m 40 so really want two for odds that at least one (hopefully) is euploid!

This process is so stressful! Thanks for your insights.

Do I test my back up embryo?

I have one euploid already.. but doing another round to hopefully get another. hoping for at least one more day 5 blastocyst, hopefully 2. As we only want one child and hoping our euploid works, so I freeze without testing or test them so know what working with?

I’m reluctant to spend more money when this is already costing so much and may never use these embryos but then wondering If I’ll regret not testing.

Pls let me know your thoughts!

I'm devastated.. in my last round I had 7 eggs.. 5 fertilised.. 1 euploid which is great I know. But I wanted to have a back up and not put so much pressure on that one embryo, as I've had failed transfers before (with untested embryos)

I don't know why but I spent so much money going for another round.. and only 3 fertilised with ICSI. Just got the call at work, and so upset. Does anyone know why this would be? I know It's not over yet and I need to see how they develop over the next few days but feeling a bit hopeless!
