If you had someone back into you at an intersection near South Coast Plaza at 10pm last night:

I don’t know if the person stopped and exchanged info with you, but I got their license plate number. Please send me a message if this was you. If I don’t hear anything, I’ll contact the police to see if a hit and run was reported in that area and time to provide info.

Does anyone know the artist of these stickers?

I bought these stickers at a convention in Southern California, and I’ve been wanting to buy more because they’ve been absolutely destroyed by the sun! My best guess is that I bought them at Anime Riverside 2-4 years ago, so I’ll definitely see if I can find the list of vendors from there, but if anyone knows that would be awesome! I also couldn’t find anything through image search. Sorry the pictures aren’t the best, I had to find an older picture of them.

AITAH if I confront my friend?

I F22 have a very close friend NB23 who we will call Sage. Sage and I hang out practically almost every other day. Of course it’s not a big deal if one of my friends cancels on me, but the way Sage does it is really annoying. For example, today made me really upset.

Sage and I were supposed to hang out around 1. At 2, I sent them a message to see what was going on. They said they probably couldn’t hang out because the guy they have just started seeing was meeting their mom (I had known about that, but they still said around 1 would be fine) and that their mom liked him more than they expected, and their mom wanted to do some activities with him that night. Sage said they might be able to hang out later, but wasn’t sure.

I feel upset for multiple reasons:

  1. I had to ask them what was up instead of them reaching out to me about their own schedule change (They do this a lot. They always say they will keep me updated but NEVER go out of their way to keep me updated).
  2. I had to find out after an HOUR after our original hangout time that they couldn’t make it. I know our plans fluctuate a lot, but I still expect from any of my friends to let me know what’s going on in a reasonable amount of time, like around 30 minutes maybe??
  3. Instead of acknowledging that they already have plans with me, they prioritized out of the blue plans with their mom and guy that they’re seeing (not officially dating yet btw). This happens every so often, and usually I’m not this upset because I get that we hang out a lot, so it’s not that big of a deal. It’s just that it happens a lot and that it’s a combo of all 3 things.

I reached out again a few hours later to see if they were thinking of coming over so that I knew how many people to make dinner for. Instead of just saying straight up no, they said “probably not.” Like yeah I get it at this point, they’re obviously not coming over, but still not giving me a sure answer is just annoying.

Would I be the asshole if I talked to them about how their actions make me feel? Or am I expecting too much from a friendship? I’ve kind of talked to them about how they cancel plans with me in the past, but they’ve always come up with excuses that just seem really shitty imo. I really don’t think it’s that complicated to communicate with your family/the people you’re spending time with to figure out what your plans for the day are. I could have made other plans and done some errands that I needed to do.

Where can I find these Sabrina Carpenter knee high boots?

The Instagram post says her hat is from Ruslan Bagunskiy, but I can’t find anything about the shoes on the website.

Is it a seizure?

I’m sorry if this isn’t allowed, I didn’t see anything against it in the rules. I know that no one here can diagnose him, but I would just like some thoughts from people who do experience seizures.

My boyfriend (22M) very occasionally has these stress/emotion induced episodes that kind of seem like seizures. His dad has epilepsy, which may be relevant. Last night, he seemed kind of stressed/off, but sometimes he has his days. What triggered the episode was that he got mad at my cat for scratching him (she was playing and just doesn’t know when to chill out). He smacked her with a small pillow (sometimes he playfully does it but this time upset me) so I told him not to do that, don’t hit her that hard. Anyways, he went into the other room to lay down. When he came back, he sat down on the couch and that’s when it fully started.

During these episodes, when I try to talk to him he doesn’t respond. Sometimes, he does laugh (he says it’s uncontrollable). He first had small little twitches/jerks, and he was doing this thing where he kind of rolls his eyes around? Idk how to describe it but it’s always seemed weird to me and he does it when he’s thinking. Then he started jerking his upper body more, and I asked him what he was doing, and he laughed. I decided to lay my head on his lap and give him a hug. At that point, he started moving a bit more, and then started hyperventilating. I’ve never seen anyone breathe that fast, and I don’t think I could if I tried. After maybe 10 seconds of that, his breathing started to slow.

Afterwards, he seemed very tired and weak. I asked him if he thinks those kind of episodes that he has are seizures. He says no because he’s awake during them. I asked if he can hear me, and he said yes, but I sound very distant. During that time, he thinks of very mundane things, like the book he’s reading, or what he had for dinner. And his vision sort of blurs, as if he can’t focus on anything.

Maybe Im just overthinking it, maybe it’s just some kind of anxiety attack? I’m also mentally ill and most of my friends are as well, and even in online spaces I’ve never heard of an episode like that. We’ve been dating for almost 6 years, and he’s had an episode like this around 4 or 5 times since I’ve known him. He has also had one at least once before I knew him that he told me about. It’s always when he’s at his house or my house, never in public or while driving. It always happens when he is upset about something (how his parents treat him, how he feels like he’s a failure/done something wrong, stress from a situation).
