2026 BBA LL.B. Graduate(first Gen) Confused Between a Small IP Firm and Integreon. Need Genuine Career Advice.
Hi everyone,
I’m a 2026 BBA LL.B. graduate from a top tier private law school(you can guess). During placements, I gave 10+ interviews (Vedanta, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, Accenture and a few boutique firms) and reached the final rounds multiple times but couldn’t convert an offer.
I have a 7.8 CGPA and 3–4 Tier-1 internships, mostly in IP with some dispute resolution work. It has honestly been discouraging.
Now I have two offers:
1. A small (2–3-year-old) remote IP law firm handling IP, IP disputes and some commercial matters. It has very limited online/LinkedIn presence and isn’t a firm that most people in the legal industry would readily recognize. It also has a 1-year lock-in.
2. Integreon as a Legal Associate involving contract review, contract abstraction and contract management.
My long-term goal is to move in-house at companies like Wipro, Vedanta, American Express or eventually Estée Lauder.
I’m confused about which path would be better in the long run.
Would Integreon actually help me transition into good in-house legal roles later on?
Or would it be better to take the remote IP firm, gain a year of experience, pursue an LL.M., and then try for better law firms or in-house roles?
I’d really appreciate honest advice from people who’ve taken either route or work in corporate legal/in-house roles. Thanks!
