Cursor disappears on my doc

Wild that I can't post a video of what's happening.

Using a new PC, but first time not having WORD at my disposal.

Used docs plenty of times, on phone, however.

While writing a brand new document, I find that I can not see my cursor on the actual doc.

I bring it out of the table, and I can see it, but I can' select nor highlight anything manually on the doc, as my cursor is invisible.

I tried the mouse pad pointer fix of changing it to visible while typing, but still no bueno.

Any other fix?

Day 3 Post Op

So, I had a good solid 36 hours of not feeling anything, with the nerve blocker put in following my bunionectomy and chevron osteotomy.

Since then, the pain has been manageable and I've been staying off of it as much as possible. Im using crutches, and have all the usual fears i suppose. I accidentally put a lot of weight on it last night, and now I feel it clicking and changing place. I figure I could be overthinking, and will try to be more careful.

I also worry about the amount of blood I see on the bandage, wondering if others have similar results? I was told multiple times, that I probably will see traces of blood and not to worry.

I remind myself that they are professionals and that this is not their first rodeo.

Feeling optimistic, but reserved at the same time.

Again, thank you for the kindnesses.

SOops. Pivot maybe?

Was planning on making a creamy chicken and wild rice soup that I've been craving.

In my haste, and due to the fact that my super hasn't fixed my overhead kitchen light, I pulled two of the above bad boys from my freezer, instead of two chicken breasts.

I've already made the rice separate, and was wondering if their are ways I can pivot this recipe, or try something brand new.

I have all the fixins for my soup.

My problem isn't substituting the porkchop, but when I've done this in the past the pieces turned out dry and almost inedible. Any suggestions? I can maybe try pulverizing them in the instant pot first, so they shred?
