Hi all - I’m a RN, I do have some wound care experience but primarily limited to ER-specific and some home care elements. These are pics of my close friend’s father - 76 yo M, poorly controlled DM type 2, poor perfusion - developed these wounds on his lateral R foot after complex burn wounds of his entire right leg requiring skin grafting became contracted; contractures led to his foot becoming inverted and causing breakdown on the lateral aspect due to ambulation complications (whole other story). Lots of conflicting feedback to the family; these foot wounds are currently being treated daily (3x home care nurse/4x family) using providone iodine and open to air at first, now providone iodine covered with a bandaid. While he does have other wounds relating to the primary injury, those don’t concern me the ways these do. Family does have f/u appts with burn center and wound care, but there’s lots of pass-the-buck that seems to be involved and I want to help advocate if I can. Any feedback? What would YOU recommend?
I only have one very small desert rose that I ordered online, so I was shocked to find these two big gorls today at Walmart of all places. They have a well-developed caudex, aren’t sitting in boggy soil and seem to be in great shape, but they’re definitely tall and one is pretty leggy. Any advice? Do I trim? They’re in a full-sun window and I plan to keep them in these nursery pots for a week or so as they get adjusted. Welcome any and all feedback and insight! Thank you
I am shook. Do I get just one?? Both??

“I’m totally ready to cut my own glass pieces!”
Narrator: she was, in fact, not ready.
Just a small serving tray, but I’m happy with how it turned out and can’t wait to keep experimenting with more creations!
Been letting this PPP get adjusted in its nursery pot, but I should separate these two when I re-pot, correct? I do have coco climber poles ready to go for them. Thanks for any feedback 😊
Found on the beach as the tide was coming in. Thought it was just a rock, but flipped it over and it looks crab-like. It’s heavy like a rock, doesn’t chip or flake, definitely not organic.
Started in a pan on the stove, but transferred to oven broil due to the high water content of the mozzarella. She a little extra but she worth it. Bonus pairing: Claussen hearty garlic pickle slices.
