Unpopular opinion, I’m sure, but as a father I always>!have Shadowheart kill her parents, even on a Selûne run.!<

I finished the fight in the house of grief again last night, >!fully intending to spare her parents this time!<, but listening to her father’s request just made me go deep in my feels to wonder what I would do if somehow my daughter was in this position. While obviously SH wants to reconnect with her parents, >!sparing them forces her to retain Shar’s curse for the rest of her life. If you kill them, you see that they’re immediately embraced by Selûne and are always watching over her.!<

While that’s not the most popular opinion, but as a father, I have to think it’s the right one. Larian really hits it out of the park with a no right answer situation here.
