'A World Without Gold' - Content that feels out of place that almost ruined Edward Kenway for me. Honest opinion

I had seen a lot of posts about this additional content, and now that ive finished it myself, I completely get what people were on about.

I don't mind the story thats told here, even though its painfully obvious that both the cutscenes and the writing don't come close to the original work. The point in the story that this quest appears doable is just honestly ridiculous. We have a character thats just gone through Mary read dieing in prison and coming to the realisation on what effect being obsessed with gold and finding the observatory was having on him. Then I play a world without gold and see Edward repeating the same mistakes again resulting in Maynard tricking him twice with the same trick of seeking gold and this time almost losing both his ship again and his 3 officers. I can understand edward being tricked once since yes it can be difficult to get over old habits, but twice just makes him look pathetic.

If this whole sequence took place before Edward finds the observatory and went to prison, it would have made a ton more sense for Edwards character development. Having this happen just after he's made amends and joined the Assassins comes very close to just ruining Edward for me entirely. A good point to place this is just after the mission where Roberts requests Edwards aid a couple months after the principe sequence allowing a good amount of time.

I also really have to comment on the ending... because its honestly terrible. Edward bests Maynard in combat, yet somehow he magically gets away after throwing the key in the ocean, Edward grabs it and suddenly we are back at the hideout. No additional gameplay to save them or fend off more british, just a fade to black. This feels extremely lazy and rushed and doesn't really feel like we've "avenged blackbeard" in any way other than making Edward look like a fool the entire questline.

This hasn't ruined the game overall for me, but i am disappointed at how this new content has been handled to the point where it felt unofficial. I'd rather it just not exist or just moved to a point in the main story where it actually made sense.

Realms button completely gone, can't restore backups

Im on a minecraft realm with addons and im the owner, but the option to restore backup saves which its setup to do every 20 minutes or so is completely gone.

The only options I have are to download the current version of the world or replace the world with a world i have saved. This isint what I want and I need to be able to restore a backup on the realms server.

How do i fix this?

[Cyberpunk 2077] #62 - This has unexpectedly become one of my favourite games of all time. Loved everything about it from the world, the characters and just the overall experience. A platinum im very happy to have in my collection! Farewell for now Night City. Thoughts below (quite long)

I went into cyberpunk completely blind with no expectations, only with the knowledge knowing it had a rough development cycle and an even rougher launch. I was able to pick up the game very quickly thanks to my previous experience playing far cry which this felt somewhat similar too.

Loved the story (especially phantom liberty oh my god!), the characters, the music and the worldspace in general. The developers really did a brilliant job in making the city feel alive like there's always something to do.

The only thing I wasnt a huge fan of was the length of the main questline. It just felt a bit too short for my tastes as I followed along with the story due to the urgency of the plot and keeping V alive, but by then im already at the point of no return mission and the game likes to constantly remind me about going to that damn final location when im still clearing the many side missions. The side content dominates the game here and is basically 90% of the experience, so if its ignored there's a ton of game being missed.

I also wish that relationships and romance paths were developed further like how it was in GTA where you can choose a location to take a friend/partner to do an activity, but unfortunately its just a repeatable quest each time where you hang out in one of Vs apartments with no new dialogue each time. I know they can't account for everything but considering how alive the city is, it's a shame this part wasn't either.

To conclude, the trophy list is fine and a easy 3/10, but i did have to keep a close eye on the guide to make sure I didn't accidentally pass by one of the missables. The biggest pain is having to replay both the ending of the main story 4 times to get the trophy for each ending, so i just had to save the ending i wanted to get until last. This trophy setup also carried over to phantom liberty in which 5 rely on the outcomes of different endings. Its annoying for trophy hunters but i can't be too mad considering the game is designed to be experienced across multiple playthroughs.

[Minishoot Adventures] #61 - A fun little bullet hell game in the style similar to the original zelda on NES. Game can get difficult if you struggle with bullet hells, but this can very easily be cheesed by enabling invincibility (probably why the completion percentage is high).
