Long term part timer here. Always purchased up to 6 weeks annual leave. Now cant do that as it takes us below minimum wage. What is the new process? Asked the office manager who does holidays today and she doesnt have a clue. I thought there was a new way of doing it where it is more like unpaid holiday leave.

2003 was devistating losing players like Jermain Defoe, Joe Cole, Glen Johnson, Trevor Sinclair, Fred Kanoute etc.
2011 was also devistating however the only real loss was Scott Parker.
This season will be more similar to 2011 in my opinion where generally our team is crap. Will be a shame losing Bowen, Summerville & Fernandes (and not getting Disasi permanent). But i wouldn’t put any of them on the Defoe, Cole, Johnson, Parker level of being sad losing them.
If you’re gonna get relegated then its better doing it with a bad squad rather than a good squad (‘too good to go down’ 2003 style).
So i’ve read if you pay in 5-6% percent then royal mail pays in 13.3%. Who would i speak to to find out how much i am paying in - a manager or ring up hr?
I’ve been working there 10 years and never done anything towards it so will be on whatever the auto enrollment would have been when i signed up. On my payslip the PSE ADJ RMCPP EE is £25.61 per week. Anyone know what % that is likely to be that i am paying in?

As the title says Ian Coughlan was an Irish MMA fighter (1-1 pro, 5-1 amateur) who just fought on the Bellator prelims. He was training for his 3rd pro fight when he had a horrific training injury and was left paralysed in July 2021. His family created a gofundme where they successfully raised €95,000 for him to travel to Germany and have stem cell & exoskeleton treatment to try and get him walking again.
As an amateur fighter myself i followed this closely and donated. But i cant see any sort of update online regarding his recovery. The last update i can find is in early 2022 where his wife posts he is still in hospital in Ireland having regained some movement in his arms but none in his legs, and they were hoping to travel to Germany for treatment later that year. That is 4 years ago now, i just wondered if anyone knew of any updates on his recovery?
36 year old male getting tonsils removed due to one being enlarged for 6+ months. First ever operation, the general anaesthetic knocked me for six, a couple of times i was very close to fainting during the hospital recovery and we had to pull over on the way home as thought i was gonna vomit.
So far pain is not bad, just a sore throat when swallowing. However barely slept last night as it feels like i have a golf ball of phlegm at the back of my throat, it is so uncomfortable i just want to try and constantly clear my throat to get rid of the feeling of this thing at the back of my throat. Also had quite bad acid reflux through the night.
I assume both of this is normal? I guess i should take it, as i suppose discomfort is better than pain (which im sure will come in the coming days). They’ve given me codine to take as well as paracetamol & ibuprofen. No antibiotics given.
