Asian Dense

Asian Dense

I made Asian Dense Bean Salad tonight. It was actually decent. I thought the dressing had a very “Asian Zing” taste to it, that was a lot better than Super Veggie dressing which tastes not so great! I was able to get everything at Whole Foods, and made 3 days worth. I bought the Cannelini Beans and Chickpeas canned to save a bit of time, I think his recipe expect you to soak and cook the beans. I also bought the cabbage / carrots together (Cole slaw), so it all came together very quickly.

I am hoping to find other Blueprint recipes to rotate. So far I do Nutty Pudding in the morning which I like, and I now do this Asian Dense Bean Salad in addition to Super Veggie. Anyone have any advice on another good Blueprint recipe?

I want to put a fence around my property. I have a zero lot line side (the right size of my home when looking at it from the street). I have a cement patio that goes all the way to the edge of my home. My plan is to put a fence right up agains the slab. This means that a 4x4 post would be up against it. Is this generally ok? In my neighborhood it looks like most houses with patios are doing exactly this, because the only other way would be to run the PVC fence with 4x4's on top of the patio. Attached is my survey, and some pictures.

I realize "Ask your neighbor" is an option, but I don't get along with him and he will 99% just say "no". I am trying to find out if there is any typical legal terms how this is typically handled. My county is Palm Beach County, Florida. My HOA has no bylaws or rules that mention anything about this particular situation.

You can see in the picture my hurricane shutters but up against my house just as the 4x4 would, just next to the shutters at the start of my patio.

I am a vegan, and was using Huel for the last 18 months or so, because it is such an easy button. I realize it’s not the best quality diet. I was literally eating it every day, the hot cups mostly, and the ready to drink shakes, and the Huel Black powder sometimes as well. I also ate the bars, greens, protein powder, so much Huel.

I latched onto Blueprint as something I want to try. I got my Biomarkers done, and ordered the Blueprint Big Stack, plus Ashwaganda, Nut Berry Mix, the bars, and a few other extras. I made my first meals. I prepped 4 days of Super Veggies. The first time I ate it, it is a bit dry. yes I put the Snake Oil on it, and the dressing made with ACV, Cumin and Lime juice, but still found it a bit dry. Not sure how I feel about the dressing, it’s a bit acidic, lots of “zing”. I love veggies, but in the past I have used salt and butter on them, which I did not do, because I am trying to follow the protocol as much as I can. I did not mince the garlic or the ginger, which I realize now was a mistake, I should have done that. I think I should have cooked the veggies a little bit longer, as they were a bit more firm than I like. I used Shitake mushrooms, and did not use the stems, only the caps.

Any Super Veggies tips, for making it taste any better or less dry?

I then made Nutty Pudding. Although I own Longevity Protein and Nut berry mix, I didn’t realize this could replace much of the ingredients for Nutty Pudding, and so I bought all the raw ingredients for Nutty Pudding and made it the long way. I accident bought “salted” Macadamia Nuts, this is what they had at Costco. I was able to “fix” this by soaking them in cold water for about 20 min or a bit longer, and did a rinse half way through, seems to have removed most of the salt, next time I will remember not to do this. The cherries I found at Costco are “Dark Sweet Cherries” (Frozen), not sure if it matters, but I found them to taste good. I folded in the pea protein, and although I bought Trehalose, I did not use any as I found it to be sweet enough. I pre-ground the Macadamia nuts and Walnuts, but not sure that was necessary, many others who also have Vitamix say you can just blend it all at once and it’s fine. The instructions for how much of each ground nut to use, assume they are already ground, so thats one reason it makes sense to pre-grind them, so you can measure properly.

I am on Tirzepatide. I am not that overweight anymore, but i feel so good on Tirzepatide, I continue it. Because of this, it’s hard to eat so much food. Blueprint is ALOT of food. Between Nutty Pudding, Super Veggie, Longevity Mix, Metabolic Protein shake, it’s more than I have been able to do so far, I probably need to start eating way earlier in the day so I have time to get through it. Anyone else on GLP-1’s that can relate? I am looking forward to seeing my biomarkers in 6 months. Mine have no serious flags, but I am really looking forward to feeling better, more energy, cognition, better sleep, etc.
