Tadalafil problems

After several years of mild ED issues, I decided to self medicate tadalafil. Only 2.5mg per day.

The ED fix is amazing and I really wanted to keep taking it.

Have had to stop. My heart / pulse rate has been very high since I started taking it. Resting at 85bpm, about 120 with walking or moving around.

I also noticed my long sight had got a lot worse suddenly. Signs I could read before are now blurry. This could be a coincidence of just getting older. But the timing is too close.

The main issue is my resting heart rate. With such a high resting heart rate - drinking alcohol gave me heart palpitations.

I really wanted tadalafil to work and it did. But the side effects are too dangerous for me.

Partner airline tier points

I flew / am flying BA to and from Australia in CW and achieved Gold on this booking alone (via KUL out and HKG back). I had a domestic flight from Perth to Melbourne. Stuck with my BA Executive club loyalty. The tier points and avios are stupidly low. Is BA deliberately disincentivising OneWorld partner loyalty?

Iberia flights

I am on a return flight from Madrid to Heathrow. Booked through BA and didn’t notice the return was served by Iberia. Booked an aisle seat months ago. Checked in today and I have been moved to the last row window seat. Frustrating to not have the seat selection honoured. Is the seat change more likely when it’s a partner airline?

Returning M3P this morning

Returning my Model 3 Performance at the end of its PCP Lease. Genuinely my favourite car I have ever owned. The acceleration alone was so much fun. Faster than a Porsche I owned before. It was a few years old when I bought it as Tesla approved. So it is a 69 plate. Cost to pay the balloon far outweighs the value and risk. New Tesla ordered in April, currently showing August to September delivery.

I am going to miss the M3P.

Power banks forbidden in overhead storage

A new addition to the welcome message when boarded this morning on a domestic flight. Asked that no one keeps power banks or batteries in their bags in the overhead storage. They must be removed and put in the seat pocket or kept in the bag under the seat. This is the first time I heard this. Has there been more incidents or fires caused by power banks in overhead storage?

New tyres before lease end

Wife’s M3 has just failed its MOT with requiring both rear tyres replaced. There is (edit 3) months left on the PCP lease. Don’t want to spend a fortune on new tyres so soon to returning it. Anyone else had this timing? Can I get much cheaper tyres and still return it?
