Bet you didn't know microplastics increase the risk of having a heart attack or stroke! ☠️☠️☠️

Recent studies strongly suggest that microplastics and nanoplastics (MNPs) in the human body are associated with a significantly increased risk of heart attack and stroke. Research published in the New England Journal of Medicine found that patients with plastic particles in their carotid artery plaque had a 4.5 times higher risk of cardiovascular events, including stroke and death. - Google Ai

Who isn't concerned about their heart health, especially if you're over 40??? We must do something about this problem NOW.. and we don't just have to throw our hands up in defeat because TOXIC microplastics are EVERYWHERE. Join our community and help us put an END to plastic, by promoting pure PHA bioplastics! They're 100% organic, fully compostable and produce ZERO toxic microplastics! 🐢

When it comes to plastic pollution.. when is enough, going to be enough?

Do we have to wait for the earth to LITERALLY become a plastic planet, before we do something?

Well, we're not about to let that happen. We're done wasting our time on recycling plastic and band-aid solutions that have little to no impact on the "plague of plastic" on our planet. Pure PHA bioplastics could replace fossil fuel plastics NOW! The ONLY thing stopping this from happening is IGNORANCE, MISINFORMATION and the WILL to see it through.

So help us spread the word about "Nature's Plastic", aka pure PHA bioplastic. It's 100% organic, FULLY compostable and does not produce ANY toxic microplastics. Together we can push politicians around the world to REGULATE petroleum based plastics, in favor of PHAs (to bring the costs down). With your help, we can replace plastic.. please follow our FB page and join the movement today! 🌱

Reddit communities are such a FUCKING JOKE. Everyone's in their own little echo-chambers.. they clearly do NOT like new ideas or competition!

Everything I post in other communities, are automatically taken down by their mods. It's clear we are a threat to their BS schemes! They know pure PHAs are a disruptor for MANY industries that they ALL must have ties to.. ie oil, natural gas, aluminum, paper, glass, recycling, etc. Because NONE of them are actually interested in finding a REAL solution to the plastic problem. They would rather keep people WASTING time on BS band-aid solutions, in their communities like r/recycling, r/ZeroWaste, r/PlasticFreeLiving. Have you seen some of the ridiculous posts there? Like "I'm trying to detox from microlplastics", LOL.. it's like they have NO CLUE what's really going on with nanoplastics. How in the F are you going to do that dumbass.. by not eating, drinking or breathing?? 😂

Just look at ALL the money and effort spent trying to reduce and recycle plastics, how's that working out??? Look around, the "Plague of Plastic" on the planet is only getting WORSE (ya f-in morons)! It's time to wake up and face REALITY, the ONLY solution to the plastic problem is to REPLACE PLASTIC with a natural alternative!! And the only substance that checks ALL the boxes, is PURE PHAs! And you don't need to trust me, check out our other posts, do your own research, and you will see the TRUTH. Or have fun thinking you're saving the world recycling plastic, when over 90% worldwide DOES NOT get recycled, EVERY YEAR! And yeah, let's all use glass jars for everything, now there's a great idea! They're so light and durable, perfect for shipping! I'm surrounded by idiots, but somehow I'm the CRAZY one?? Yeah, "crazy" like Stephen Hawking..

Just like with LEAD paint in the 1970s.. petrol-chemical plastics have got to go!! 🐢

The more you know, the more you'll realize TOXIC plastic is EVERYWHERE.. we literally live on a plastic PLANET! We brush our teeth with it, we wear it, we drive in it, we work in it, we sleep in it, we eat it, we drink it and now there's evidence that we even breathe it in! Pretty scary, huh? And just like with lead in paint, we're realizing the TOXIC chemicals in #microplastics (that are accumulating in most of our major organs), can't be a good thing for our health.

While some are raising awareness about the problem and potential dangers.. we are the ONLY community online talking about a COMPLETE and viable SOLUTION to the plastic problem. Some talk about recycling, some talk about using glass more, while others talk about using PLA bioplastics, and even hemp plastics.. but they all have FLAWS/ISSUES that prevent them from being the IDEAL replacement for toxic plastic. ONLY pure PHAs are 100% organic, FULLY compostable at room temperature, and produce ZERO toxic microplastics. 🌱

So please join the MOVEMENT that's about more than just raising awareness.. it's time to do something about the "Plague of Plastic" on our planet! Don't just upvote this post, please be sure to JOIN our community as well, there's POWER in numbers..

Recycling plastic accomplishes LITTLE and is NOT a long-term solution!

Here are the top THREE reasons why recycling plastic is not effective or a long-term solution to the "plague of plastic" on our planet..

  1. Recycling does NOTHING to address the toxic microplastic problem. Studies have ALREADY proven the toxic chemicals in plastics significantly reduce testosterone levels in men. And now NEW studies show we're ingesting approximately a FULL credit card EVERY week, of TOXIC nanoplastics.. that contain many dangerous chemicals ie FOREVER chemicals, even FLAME RETARDANT. Many of which are accumulating in most of our major organs year after year (since plastic takes 100s-1000s of years to completely break down), yikes! More LARGE scientific studies on microplastics and their associated dangers are coming. But you don't need to be a brain surgeon to recognize the dangers TOXIC microplastics (in our blood, major organs, even breast milk!) likely pose to our health.

  2. "Worldwide, only about 9% of all plastic waste gets recycled each year. The vast majority of discarded plastic—roughly 70% to 80%—ends up in landfills or is mismanaged and leaked into the natural environment." - UNDP. In addition, there's a MASSIVE amount of plastic that's simply IMPOSSIBLE to recover/reclaim/recycle each year.. since much of it is blended into paint, carpet, clothing, shoes, etc. and floating around in our oceans, killing wildlife! Which means that even with our best efforts to recycle plastic, it just doesn't amount to much, given how much we're still ACCUMULATING in our environment on yearly basis. And by the time you factor in the costs, pollution and toxic byproducts generated from recycling plastic, the benefits are reduced even further!

  3. Fossil fuel plastics take 100s-1000s of years to COMPLETELY break down, and they contain MANY dangerous chemicals.. making them a LETHAL combination. And given as I have detailed above, we are only able to recycle LESS than 10% of all plastics worldwide, EACH year.. things are only going to get worse! For future generations and much of the wildlife, that we all LOVE and depend on (to keep our fishing/seafood industries and ocean ecosystems healthy). 🐢 There are FIVE plastic trash islands (see pics), that are MILES across, swirling around in our oceans today, that no one can do anything about, smh. The stark reality is, toxic fossil fuel plastics create WAY too many LONG-LASTING problems, that simply cannot be mitigated.

That said, we should continue to "responsibly" recycle as much plastic as we can, while creating as little pollution and toxic byproducts as possible.. but again, recycling plastics is not a long-term SOLUTION to this IMMENSE problem. After doing a LOT of research, I believe Pure PHA bioplastics (NOT HYBRIDS!) are the ANSWER.. they check ALL the boxes and could REALISTICALLY solve the plastic problem, for good! They're 100% organic, FULLY compostable, and break down much quicker (especially in salt water).. and best of all, they do not create TOXIC microplastics. The ONLY problem with pure PHA bioplastics is that VERY few people know about their promising recent advancements in both performance and production.. won't you help us change that? Join the discussion, help us raise awareness about pure PHAs 🤙

And for the record, I am not getting paid by ANYONE to promote PHAs, no one has asked me to do this and I have never worked in the bioplastic industry. I'm just a guy that's done a LOT of research and is VERY concerned about the "plastic problem". 🌱

How do we bring the costs down for pure PHA #bioplastics, and improve their production/performance, so we can ACTUALLY replace ALL fossil fuel plastics someday?

Here's our VISION..

We would likely start by replacing all single-use/simple plastics (which are much easier to manufacture). As we believe that 40-50% of what's produced with fossil fuels, could be replaced with pure PHA TODAY. And then over time, with new regulations and BILLIONS being poured into R&D, and refining the production process of pure PHA #bioplastics.. the rest will follow! 🐢

It may take some time to achieve 90-100% transition, but pure #PHAs hold such promise, most unbiased experts feel it can be done. Just look at microchips, EVs, solar panels and most other burgeoning industries.. the advancements can be IMMENSE with the right idea, and enough money and tech behind it!

That said, even if we can only replace 80% of plastics with PHAs due to performance/application requirements.. we can use PHA hybrids for the rest (which can still be composted in a controlled environment). This would still eliminate TOXIC #microplastics (since hybrids don't produce much, if any MPs).. and since there will only be 20% or so to deal with, they will be FAR easier to REGULATE and manage.

Stay tuned, more details to follow.. be sure to share our community with your friends. 🤙

Recycling plastic doesn't work! Google Ai agrees..

Google Ai: Plastic recycling largely fails because it is economically unviable, technically difficult, and environmentally damaging. Only about 5-9% of plastic is actually recycled; the rest is incinerated, landfilled, or pollutes the environment. Virgin plastic is cheaper to produce, and many plastic types cannot be recycled together, making sorting complex.

Recycling doesn't work.. even with our BEST efforts over many DECADES, we are still only recycling 5-9% each year!! Which means that over 90% is still with us for 100s of years, leaching TOXIC microplastics into the environment (and our bodies), killing wildlife. The TRASH floating around in our oceans, is too difficult to collect and recycle.. there MUST be a better way. PHA bioplastics are the ANSWER.. they solve the plastic problem! They are 100% organic, break down much quicker (especially in salt water) and do not create TOXIC microplastics. 🐢

The ONLY problem with PHA bioplastics is that VERY few people know about their promising recent advancements in both performance and production.. won't you help us change that? Join the discussion at r/Plastic_Free_With_PHA 🤙

While it's virtually IMPOSSIBLE to completely prevent TOXIC microplastics from entering our bodies (without switching to PHAs), there are ways to REDUCE the amount of plastic our bio-systems RETAIN..

u/big_4_ever — 2 months ago

If only more people understood the DANGERS & prevalence of microplastics!

If more people FULLY understood the "plague of plastic" on our planet, and just how bad the TOXIC microplastic problem is.. they'd QUICKLY realize recycling, or tying to lessen their use of plastic, will NEVER solve the problem. Like drops of water in the OCEAN, they will NEVER have any real impact.. microplastics and (even worse) NANOPLASTICS, are everywhere and in everything.

The ONLY solution to the "plastic problem", is to find a viable REPLACEMENT.. that breaks down quickly and doesn't produce TOXIC microplastics. Which is why we believe PHA bioplastics are the FUTURE.. they check all the boxes! It's only a matter of time before more people figure this out, the manufacturing process is refined, and costs are reduced. And with enough push-back from concerned, and well INFORMED citizens.. we CAN one-day force politicians around the world to regulate plastic and promote PHAs.

It's the ONLY way out of this mess.. tell a friend to join our MOVEMENT! Let's get the CONVERSATION/PROCESS started, the sooner the better.. especially for future generations. 🤙

👋 Welcome to r/Plastic_Free_With_PHA - Introduce Yourself and Read First!

Hey everyone! I'm a founding moderator of r/Plastic_Free_With_PHA.

My life's mission is to help the world transition away from TOXIC, fossil-fuel plastics.. and towards Pure PHA bioplastics (no PLA hybrids!). After many decades trying, it's clear, recycling plastic doesn't work. Even with our BEST efforts, less than 10% gets recycled each year, around the world.. and recycling does NOTHING to address the microplastic problem. So when alarming new HEALTH studies came out proving substantial amounts of these TOXIC microplastics were actually being retained in most of our major organs.. I knew the PLANET was in DESPERATE need of a PARADIGM shift!

This is no longer just an environmental/waste/wildlife issue.. especially now that we know NANOPLASTICS (which are even smaller than microplastics) are EVERYWHERE, and in EVERYTHING! Our clothes, sheets, blankets, pillows, toys, binkies, gum, carpets, cars, paint, toothbrushes, beauty products, even the plants we EAT and the AIR we breathe! 🐢

In the 21st century, we can do better than WASTING finite, valuable resources.. on millions of TONS of TOXIC plastic TRASH! That will be with us for 100s of years, leaching TOXIC micro/nano plastics into our BODIES and environment.. and it's only getting WORSE, unless we do something about it, NOW.

Please join the r/Plastic_Free_With_PHA movement today! Together, we CAN make the world a BETTER place.. not just for US, but for FUTURE generations. 🤙
