my resident cat is about 2 1/2 years old and has slept with me almost every day of his life. I’ve been wanting a second cat ever since i got him, i just haven’t got the chance or opportunity. recently i’ve been having dreams about getting a new cat , specifically a siamese or ragdoll looking cat, like unique. (my resident cat is a shorthair who i adopted for free)
so today my friend asks me if i want a free cat. this cat comes from a home where theres many dogs and the owners cant/ don’t know how to care for a cat/ don’t want to. and apparently it isn’t trained. the owners are pretty rich, and this cat is a colorpoint (grey siamese) scottish fold and it are is the cutest baby ever like literally the cat of my dreams. they want to give the cat to the pound because it isn’t trained.
my problem is here: i live in a 3 bed 1 bathroom house with my dad and his obnoxious friend of a roommate who does not respect boundaries at all and is very loud and needs everything his way. so, the bathroom 99% wont work because he will invade the cats space and cause more stress.
i am considering moving the rest of my cats things (litterbox, cat tree, food bowls etc) out of my room into the living room to make the new cat a space in my room. the issue is, if i sleep in my room where the new kitty is staying, my cat will meow endlessly outside of my door. im literally considering sleeping in my living room, but we dont have s couch atm so i would have to sleep on a box spring. im worried about my cat becoming territorial because of the new cat being in a space that was once his. what do i do?

i bought 2 things from this seller, i did not bundle i bought them like a few minutes apart and a day or so later she said she shipped them both. couple days go by (today) and one of them is delivered, the other one the shipping hasn’t even updated. i open the package, and the tracking number/ label on the box was different from the item i bought, so it was like swapped. (i got the blue one instead of the pink one ) its a 2.5 price difference, but still. if i get refunded for the one i HAVE id still be losing money. the seller is very sweet and even gave me a free gift so i dont want to do anything that would hurt her, but im still worried i wont get my package or my full money back. would i have to show depop the packages got swapped to get my full refund back if it never ships?
im wondering if i can use nail polish remover?? or if that will completely ruin the paint? if so any other recs? im mostly concerned about the bottom of the shoes tbh

i feel like depop has had a huge increase in issues with sellers. of course relisting at a higher price has always been an issue, but a MAJORITY of sellers these days dont even ship their items, or sell damaged/ dirty clothes without disclosing that it is in that condition.
