A sad affair with what I thought would be a car I drove into the ground…

I bought this car less than 2 years ago and since about 6 months in I’ve had nothing but problems (82k miles).

  1. a couple of tyre sensors - no biggie easy to fix and relatively cheap.

  2. Injector seals - 2 gone, fine and not too expensive. Heavy on labour, apparently a bit of a bastard of a job to do.

  3. Starter motor - randomly went one day, electric smoke out of the bonnet. Car lifted from home to mechanic. Pricy overall and a pain.

  4. ANOTHER TYRE SENSOR

  5. Injector just gone - my most recent issue waiting several days for a part and just know it’s going to be pricey.

Do I give up on this car? It’s been an absolute money pit and maybe my mistake for buying an older car and expecting things to be not so heavy on the repairs

A TMI post probably so if your iffy about gas and bowels please move on 🤣🤣

My first pregnancy was 2021/22 so a while ago and I think my brain decided to forget everything from the first trimester in some twisted biological trick so I would decide to get pregnant again!

I do not remember having this much gas pain, gas and my bowels being so darn sensitive. I am 9+6 weeks and honestly the gas and gas pain in the evenings is wild no matter what I eat during the day. I’ve tried staying off spicy food, fizzy drinks, anything gas inducing, doesn’t matter.

When I do eat spicy food, the next day I end up with bowel pains that are worse than I have had before, my gut just seems to be super sensitive…

Any tips or light at the end of the tunnel for this? I want to be able to enjoy spicy food as this is something I am actually enjoying in the first trimester 🫠🫠🫠
