How do people afford grad school?
A 1 year Master’s degree at my school costs:
$70K tuition
$1K in fees
$1200 books and supplies
$16K housing and food
$4K misc
so about $92K total.
However I get 25% off tuition since I am an undergraduate at my institution, meaning that tuition would be $52,500 instead of $70,000.
That would still be $74,500 for a year.
FAFSA loans only cover $20,500 a year at most.
How do people pay for a masters nowadays?
*edit: it is for a degree in humanities

Study abroad financial aid
I have an SAI of -1500, meaning that my tuition, housing, food are all covered by BU. If I decide to go study abroad, how would this work?
Will I have to pay anything to study abroad?
