Bought at farmers market but I think the farmer lied to me

I went to the farmers market earlier today hoping I could find a pumpkin I could use to add some seasonal veggies into my daily meals. I asked the lady at the farmers market which gourd was the creamiest for soups and stews, and she directed me toward this one and she said it was a kombucha pumpkin. I tried to search it online and found a kabocha pumpkin when kombucha pumpkin yielded no results but this is almost certainly not that. Is this even edible, let alone creamy?

Was this hazing or harassment?

I had an incident the other day involving one of my neighbors(I think) and now that I've had a few days to think about it I'm wondering if I was overreacting and just being hazed for being new to the apartment or if it was harassment and I made the right judgement call to call the police.

Late at night, my neighbor has started knocking on the walls so I assumed it was about my volume and kept turning it lower and lower with every knock. Eventually it got to the point where the tv volume was at one and even I couldn't hear it and they kept knocking on the wall so I just turned it off and went on my phone silently. It still continued tho, and at 11:45 or so, they started knocking at my door. I'm assigned female at birth, am not particularly strong, I'm autistic and I'd only been living alone for the first time a few days, so I was really freaked out. The knocking was weird and sporadic, and eventually they started playing sound effects too, like guttural screams and clicking noises. They started jiggling my doorknob and I panicked and called the police, and even while I was on the phone the knocking continued. I knew it wasn't some lost drunk guy trying to find his apartment since this went on for at least an hour before police cleared the area.

So is this like a normal hazing thing people do in apartments in uni? I'm retrospect it really felt like someone was really trying to scare me but also trying to open the door is a bit much no? I just thought hazing only really happened in frats and I'm not in one.

Is it normal for neighbors to knock on wall at night because a audio is playing at the lowest volume

Hello, I'm 21 and living in my own in an apartment for the first time. When my neighbor moved in, they knocked on my wall for the sound off the tv at night, and I eventually had the volume at literally one and they still knocked. I ended up just trying to sleep it off, so I put on the podcast I play to sleep at a low volume, and even then, there's a knock at the wall. I don't know if this is related to the volume of my phone but it's so quiet I can barely hear it. If not are there any other reasons they might be knocking? It's just ironic because I'm autistic and I have sensory issues with sounds and this is just really overstimulating lol Edit: it's really close to midnight, they've started knocking on my door in bizarre ways. I'm really scared I'm not gonna lie

My cat changed, attacks me/cries if I try to leave now?

I recently went on a week long trip and left my cat fyodor dostoevsky in a cat boarding house that we always rely on when me and my family go on trips. Previously he has adjusted well to returning home after our vacations but on a recent week long trip(our normal vacation length), he seems to have changed entirely. He has gone from being a quiet and aloof boy to a loud and obsessively clingy boy that follows me everywhere and meows loudly if I'm not holding him or cuddling him. I'm starting to get a bit concerned as he begins to meow incredibly sadly or attack my feet if I try to leave my mom's room, even though he can easily just leave as well. He is trapping himself, the door is wide open. I think he has some sort of separation anxiety now, but I have no clue what will make him feel better. What's worse is that I leave for university 100 miles away in a few weeks, and my mom's job begins again at the same time, so I worry he will be even lonlier during the semester even if my mom is there for him in the evenings. How do I make him feel better and reassure him that we are not trying to permanently leave him? How can I make him feel better? He has had a cushy life from kittenhood and I have no clue what would cause him to change so much so quickly, especially at a place he is already familiar with.

Having crying meltdowns as an adult

Hi, I'm 20 years old and lately have been really struggling with meltdowns that involve a LOT of crying. It feels really isolating since among the people I know, autistic and non autistic I never hear about their struggles with controlling crying or having meltdowns. It really makes me feel like a child and like I'm the only one my age that cries at all, let alone as much as I do. I don't want to feel alone and I want to know if anyone here has any issues like that, how thet deal with it and move on from it, and just generally their experiences with things like this.
