Was curious how cold the air coming out of my vents was, so I put a thermometer into the vent and it was blowing 47 degrees! I’ve never had a vehicle blow that cold. That was on max after about 10 minutes. I don’t have to leave it on high very long, usually back it off to speed 4 or 5 to maintain how I like it. My past vehicles were usually around 55-60. Some of these trucks have sucky lifters but they sure got the a/c right 🤪

Coming up on 120k so time to address the coolant per owners manual. Do yall simply drain the radiator and go back with fresh 50/50 premix, maybe even do it twice?…or do you drain and refill with distilled water multiple times until it drains clear then go back with concentrate to mix with the water in the block to hopefully have roughly a 50/50 mix?

Replacing the tensioner and both belts. Water pump belt went with on pretty easy using the zip tie trick and turning the crankshaft. The serpentine belt however is really being a pain. I can get a box end wrench on the tensioner to take off the tension, but the wrench rides right on the crank pulley where I can’t get the belt up and over on top of the pulley. Gonna try an offset 17mm wrench and see if that gives me clearance. Wish me luck.

Bought a gallon of 2 stroke oil and then a week later found another jug in the garage with about a quart and a half still in it. I think I bought this in 2024 so roughly 2 years old. Think it’s still good and okay to use? It’s Pennzoil semi synthetic.
