Water softener no longer working, not sure what else to try

I bought a new M27 Morton water softener at the end of October last year. For around 6 months it was working fine, then we started noticing our water wasn't soft anymore. I've tried to troubleshoot it on my own but I am struggling to find the culprit. I really don't want to buy yet another water softener if I can help it, but I don't know what else could even be wrong with it.

At first I thought it might be a salt bridge, though our basement has a dehumidifier and is quite dry. The salt level has not gone down in weeks. I tried stabbing my way through with a stick, and could reach the bottom without issue.

The salt has sat just above the 1 on the marker for weeks.

The bypass above is closed, and both in and out valves are open.

I double checked the connections. We have a pretty straightforward setup.
The water comes in the left pipe and out the right. If I turn either handle, the faucet nearby will stop outputting water.

If I hold the select button I can get a little menu that shows some kind of usage meter.

Turbine set to 000

This number increments when I turn a faucet on.

It immediate reacts to a faucet

I have tried checking the tube that connects to the brine, but there doesn't appear to be a clog.

Nothing seems to be inside.

If I remove the tube and blow, I hear bubbles come out of the brine.

The tube seems unobstructed

Bypass valve is pulled and says Push to bypass. If you push it, the turbine tracker stops incrementing.

I have also double checked the bypass is in the correct position.

I tried a dozen times to get a good picture, but there is visibly cloudy brine at the bottom of the overflow tube. (IDK its actual name) The floater is in there and appears undamaged.

It's blurry but it's a cloudy brown swirl in the bottom.

My last one was set to 90 for most of its life, but I read that that was overkill and wasting salt.

Our water is really hard. I bought test strips and they instantly turn red. The city claims it's 30 grains/gallon but I think it might be a bit higher than that. I've tried setting the hardness to 30 or 45 and right now it's at 60.

There are two settings that I haven't touched, I assume they are reasonable?

The Eco mode is set to off.

I have done manual recharges. Both the recharge now and the recharge tonight. Water does go through the output tube and into the drain during the recharges.

Is there something else I should do or check? I've heard these cheaper water softeners aren't reliable, but I was really hoping I'd get a few years out of one at the very least.

My hope in this post is that someone will see it and show me that I am doing something totally wrong and there's some obvious way to fix it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
