Hi everyone,

Due to the wildfires in the East, my camping plans have been canceled. I’m trying to figure out an alternative plan in the Olympics, but it seems like most campsites are booked or first come first serve. My trip is August 8-10. Since I’ll be going up on Saturday, will it be difficult to get a FCFS campsite? Or should it be open? rec.gov seems to have 4/5 campsites with about 10-30 spots depending on the site. Do those campsites fill up quickly? Any advice would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I recently just moved to belltown and was wondering if the fireworks in south lake union would be visible from the rooftop of my building. My building is on Elliott ave and is five stories tall. I feel like I’m close to slu but not close enough to see the show. Also wondering if they do a firework show across the water at alki, as id have no problem seeing a show like that. Any input would be appreciated!
