Me: "That doesn't make sense.", Sister: "It doesn't have to."

Which subreddit can I speak of my younger sister's illogical logic that makes me question my own logic. In a sense that her logic is that there is no logic (which is a logic that does not translate to my life manual) and I'm an autistic 17 year old having an existential crisis. I'm somehow losing my mind despite the fact I'm already insane.

Possibility of a growth spurt?

I'm currently 166.9cm (5'5.709) at 17, but I'm a girl.

My father is 6'2 and my mother is 5'2.

I have had life long sleep issues and I get no more than 9 hours of sleep unless I take long naps during daytime. I'm also underweight.

My feet haven't grown for 5 years until they grew ever so slightly almost 2 years ago. I've also had somewhat consistent growth spurts even though I started puberty a bit earlier than usual.

I know it's not impossible for a girl to grow a bit more, but given my poor sleep and weight is there still a possibility for me to get any taller?

I don't know anything about my height history. I won't be able to get them mad x-rays since I'm in the UK and have no clinical reason for any.

For some reason I've always cared about height and I've always wanted to be taller than everyone in my family. I probably care about my own height more than a teenage boy.

If things don't go well: how do I properly grieve the loss of my only dream?

This new update is cool, but literally impossible.

My official ASD assessment explains how my brain processes things slowly and these gold fish disappear faster than my brain can process. How am I supposed to get any? Change how my brain works? 😭

Guess I'll have to rely on my horrible trading skills to get the Tealwood Monster and potentially the Rainbow Trout.

In detail, I only manage to process that I've caught a gold fish a millisecond before it disappears which means I don't click in time to reel it in. Is it childish to feel this is unfair?

Also, I would just like to say I'm not dumb I simply just take more time. I get the highest grades, but never once progressed in a game of time tables splat.

Scared to Take Melatonin

Disclaimer: I'm (17) autistic and have had sleeping issues almost since my debut in life.

I have been prescribed to take two 3mg melatonin tablets a day.

I'm not very knowledgeable on medication, supplements, nor any sciences in general.

My father has been taking melatonin since he was young and he has serious unidentified issues.

My mother has represented such supplements as bad and with side effects.

Maybe this sounds stupid, but I feel like I'm a lot like my father. And so, I'm really horrified at what might happen if I actually start taking the melatonin tablets.

I'm also a person who avoids processed and "unnatural" things as much as possible. I only take painkillers on the verge of a meltdown.

The doctor I saw also said that "if you fight it, it won't work". I try to sleep, but my mind doesn't understand that means it needs to shut up especially so in these past couple of months. Would the melatonin even work anyway?

Just the thought of taking Melatonin is negatively stimulating my brain even more.
