Sailor update: 3 weeks and eyes are almost back to normal!

Sailor was found on side of house with eyes crusted shut and was having difficulty breathing. She was bone thin and not eating from not being able to smell. We slowly syringed churro in her mouth and made it to the vet the next day. She said there was a good chance 1-2 eyes would be lost. Her eyes are almost back to normal and shes such an active and lovable cutie. We are so thankful we found her and thankful the shelters didnt take her because it allowed her to heal her and give her a loving home.

How do I get tiny bubbles out of smooth cast 305?

Ive never really had issues with bubbles until I started mixing a drop of so-strong purple in my molds. Im getting very tiny bubbles on the surface. I am reading about vaccum degassers and pressure pots but am unsure the difference? What would be a nice low budget option for this? Thanks!

5 days of antibiotics, lots of kisses, and wet food. 💕

We found Sailor crying on the side of someones house while on our walk. Her eyes were crusted shut and she could barely breathe. Worst URI I have seen in person. With some antibiotics and lots of yummy food shes starting to look and act like a cat :D

Any hope for her eyes? We are on 1.5 days of antibiotics.

Its crazy to say how much her eyes improved with a little over a day of antibiotics. We found her crying on the side of a house with her eyes sealed shut. The vet didnt seem optimistic upon intake but was happy to hear over the phone how little discharge is coming out now. She went from not eating at all to chowing down food like crazy! Has anyone seen bad eyes like this end up okay?

Whats the consensus on l-lysine for sick kittens?

My vet told me to get my very ill kitten a bit of l-lysine for immune support but im reading this is no longer recommended and could actually make it harder for kitten to heal. I dont know what to believe now. Any insight?

I hand sculpted this Hedorah inspired creature yesterday. Will eventually cast it so I can paint a bunch of color variants.

Anyone have any recommendations for a good material to fill the mold with? I am new to plastics and resins. I do not own a degassing system yet
