MacBook Air for studies- need reviews

Hey! I’ll be moving to Europe for my Masters in Education Policy and thinking to get a MacBook. I own IPhone 13 Pro Max as well.
My main work will be related to reading, completing assignments, qualitative and quantitative research (and related software), attending online meetings, etc. might use CapCut occasionally as well.
Is it wise to get a MacBook? If yes, which one? I am leaning toward Air M3. What would be the cost for new and used both 16 ram 512 storage.

Masters from US is empirically better as compared to rest of the world?

Post-grad from the US is “unarguably and empirically better” than the rest of the world.
Someone commented this instead of congratulating me when they got to know about my acceptance into Erasmus Mundus program for a joint-European masters, fully funded merit-based scholarship btw (granted to only 23 people in the world)

I find the comment demeaning and also untrue. But would love for you all to answer the question if this holds any accuracy.

P.S. imo if your formal education made you self absorbed and egoistic then it actually did the opposite of what it was supposed to do :)

Medical Fitness Certificate

Desperately need guidance on getting Medical Certificate made for Spanish study visa. Whichever hospital I contacted said they dont make it, except AKU which is a private hospital. I’m not getting clear instructions on the internet regarding it is fine to get it made by a private institution.
Most places are suggesting to get it made by government hospital. I am unable to find a government hospital in the vicinity of Gulshan Iqbal or Johar which are willing to make the certificate.

I’m a girl and commuting alone to Jinnah or Civil and follow the process of certificate doesnt seem the most viable. Please please if you know a hospital my nearby area which could make the certificate kindly share details. I’m tired of contacting hospitals and receiving rejections. This is delaying my visa process and causing great concern.

UoG as EMJM Partner University

I have been accepted for EMJM M.A in Educational Policies for Global Development. We have an option to choose from University of Glasgow, University of Bremen, and University of Cyprus for our second semester. When applying, I was sure that I will select UoG. Now after being selected I talked to two EMJM alumni who went to UoG and have only bad things to say about the quality of teaching there.

I am super confused as it is one of the most prestigious names but the reviews are so bad. Please share your responses to help me make a better decision.

I do know one more issue is that UK has stopped granting student visas to EMJM students so we will have to apply for visit visa and pay a hefty amount. This also cancels our chances of staying in the UK for work permit.

Your thoughts would be appreciated.

Im in the process of obtaining documents for study abroad and it is all sooo confusing.

Please help with my queries:

- I need my Intermediate Certificate. I tried their online portal but upon adding my details it says “your PAKKA CERTIFICATE has already been issued”. I never applied for it or requested issuance before so what does this mean? I was hoping to get it done all online without having to visit the board office. They are not picking calls either.

In addition, I need to get it verified by the board as well.

- I already have my Matriculation Certificate but need it to be verified by the board itself. I tried looking for an online option for it but couldn’t find any. Does it have to be done physically? What’s the process.

Hey! I’ll be coming to Barcelona to study at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). Should I learn the basics of Spanish or Catalan? And what is the best way to learn any of these languages?
